Our first day at the Mandarin Oriental Emirates Palace began with a truly unforgettable lunch at Alma—a perfect start to our stay.

We were warmly greeted by Mr. Pardip, who immediately recognised us from our last visit in 2019. I was genuinely touched that he remembered my vegan/vegetarian dietary requirements and made sure everything was tailored to suit my needs. They specially prepared the most delicious aubergine panini, made with pine nuts—a thoughtful, healthy, and flavour-packed addition that made the dish stand out. Even the fries were cooked in a separate batch of fresh oil, showing their commitment to both taste and care.

Shortly after, Manager Suresh and Chef Nicolas came over personally to introduce themselves. Their humility, warmth, and professionalism truly elevated the experience. Suresh continuously checked in to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying everything.

The food was of the highest standard, beautifully presented and crafted with precision. Dining at Alma is more than just a meal—it’s a celebration of flavour, wellness, and heartfelt service. The serene setting, combined with world-class cuisine and the genuine hospitality of the team, made this a highlight of our trip.
