Il Forno, Mushrif Mall — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Italian food is always a favorite and what better than trying out good food with lovely service .Love Italian because of the delicate flavors ,variety of cheeses and off course the pastas.

For the starters I tried the Chicken wings where were juicy and succulent.Well coated with the special signature sauces .The wings had the desired level of crispness to them which was lovely .

Also tried the Chicken Pizza rolls which were excellent .These rolls were stuffed with cheese ,olives ,pepperoni, chicken , potato chunks and had a base pizza sauce . The rolls were crusty on the exterior and cheesy inside .Each bite was a delight to have .The potato chunks really went went with the whole combination .

Moving on to the main course ,I ordered the Pizza Primavera which was a classic thin crust base pizza with exotic veggies and alot of melt in the mouth cheese .The pizza is a great option for the vegetarians and the veggies consisted of broccoli,artichokes,olives and mushrooms .

Ravioli di funghi was a delicacy I tried from the stuffed pasta section and it definitely was one of my favorite from the meal. If you’re a lover of pink sauce ,mushrooms with subtle flavor of cheese then you can definitely opt for this one. The ravioli was cooked to perfection and was absolutely fresh .

Penne di pollo al piccata was a pasta from the baked section .This pasta was covered with a layer of baked bread on the top .It was pasta with very rich ,heavy, creamy and cheesy béchamel sauce .Other ingredients included sun-dried tomatoes ,capers ,artichokes and chicken.The portion was quite filling and enough for two I would say.

Chocolate Mousse for the dessert was the perfect way to end my delicious meal.This mousse was a combination of layers with chocolate mousse and mascarpone cheese .It was topped with chocolate syrup ,chocolate shreds ,tiramisu biscuits and fresh strawberries.

C-Power for the drinks was absolutely the right choice to make ,as it was a blend of mango ,kiwi strawberry, pineapple and melon .Quite thick in consistency but loved the freshness and mix of all these fruits .

Apart from the food being delicious ,I absolutely adored how the staff was very friendly and had great hospitality skills .The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a date night ,casual dinner or a...

Il Forno serves some great, authentic Italian dishes with a good ol' Naples vibe (yes, I visited Naples!). We had a variety of dishes - from pizza to pasta to tiramisu. You should NEVER miss out on the Tiramisu!

Arancini Ai Formaggi These Italian rice balls filled with mozzarella and parmesan are deep fried to give that crispy texture on the outside, and a cheesy interior. Served alongside some salsa, these huge (I mean it!) balls of cheesy deliciousness was great. Our dish had 5, so we both had two each, and I literally took away the last one home.

Il Forno Pizza A signature pizza at the restaurant, we ordered a small size and it was quite a generous one to be honest. Topped with italian sauce, mozzarella cheese, ground beef, beef sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, onion, basil, green pepper, oregano and olives, you can literally see all the ingredients well enough on each slice. Loved the pizza base - soft yet crispy on the edges.

Tortellini Biancki Each tortellini is stuffed with spinach and cheese, in a creamy sauce. I am not sure what the sauce was made of, but it was a good one. As long as you're not intolerant to dairy, this is a good choice. Although intolerant, I could not stop myself after the first tiny bite as it was good.

Tiramisu and Chocolate Mousse Never miss on a good Tiramisu if you visit an Italian restaurant, as no one makes it better than them! Nothing else to say as it was delicious.

Chocolate Mousse was one huge portion. Quite a shocker but one of the smoothest and creamiest mousse ever. Great service and lovely staff, the restaurant was half full but had enough and more distance between tables. I would suggest the staff to be more interactive and maybe suggest a few items off the menu to customers, as it would...

Appetizers Arancini Ai Formaggi its a rice balls filled with cheese served with red sauce ..tastes so yummy...

Pizza Chicken Barbecue pizza -It has an excellent flavor of cherry tomatoes, chicken strips and barbecue sauce.

Margherita pizza - Margherita pizza is overloaded with cheese you all know about it kids love it ... 🍕 i ordered it for my son as he dont want any toppings...

Lasagna di pollo- its a baked pasta filled with cheese and creamy chicken...

Drinks Strawberry strwberry and mango juice Freshly prepared refreshing juice...

Desserts - strawberry Cheesecake Was mothmented ,lovely and presented so beautifully .. just loved it.

I rarely saw an italian restaurant with such affordable range and with good quantity I would highly recommend this place...
