Localino — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Gotta give credit where credit is due… huge shout out to Localino for providing not only the BEST Roman style pizza in town (I believe they came 1st place in Masters of Pizza UAE and also 4th place in the World Pizza Championship in Italy 😳 - so I can say this with a lot of conviction!) but also the BEST service in town.

Back story: About three weeks ago, we ordered our usual delivery from them but then also wanted to try their bombolone so we ordered extra. Delivery arrived and initially we thought we had ordered 2 servings of bombolone (1 serving = 3 bombolones) but we only received 2 😳 We didn’t think much about it as we thought perhaps we misread the menu 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyway, fast forward a week later, I got a call back from the owner stating that he had noticed that they stuffed up our order and wanted to make it up to us by adding a free pizza of our choice to our next order ! 😳 To say that I was pleasant surprised by the call back would be an understatement - who even would bother to do that nowadays ? I honestly would have happily gone on with my life without the free pizza and not knowing that they had stuffed up our order 😆 but kudos to the owner for going above and beyond!!

So fast forward again 2 weeks later after that phone call .. we decided on pizza tonight and of course ordered our usually delivery and not only did we receive our complimentary pizza (as promised) but we also received a surprise tiramisu to share! 😳 Now this is how you do business 👏🏻 Well done Localino, regardless of the complimentary pizza/tiramisu - you’ve got yourself a...

Where do I start, since the first time I’ve visited Localino my experience has been outstanding from the service to the food the atmosphere of the place is vibrant and relaxing,

the service wow incredible from the first step you take into the restaurant you are greeted with smiling faces and a warm welcoming aura they are always there for their customers and will always go above and beyond with their hospitality for every customer that enters.

Now let’s talk about the food…..words can’t describe how amazing it was/is well priced and great portion sizes it’s worth every penny the truffle mushroom pizza delicious!!! The lasagne delicious!!! The seafood pasta delicious!!! But now the game changer that would leave you wanting to buy more THE ROAST BEEF sandwich!!!! It’s incredible and will leave your taste buds blown away the slow cooked beef with that slight kick of spice every bite of this sandwich hits you with a punch of flavour with every bite!

Overall this place is a MUST TRY and you would not be disappointed in...

A truly hidden gem, even at 4.9 stars on google this place is still under rated. I love their Pizza to a crazy level, do not miss "the queen", "feel the heat", and "salsiccia" (if I remember the spelling correctly). I love the unqiue cheese on the queen, and the spiciness and crispiness of the other two.

Oh, and absolutely do not miss their Tiramisu. On a bad day it's heavenly, on a good day it beyond description.

Service is impeccable, seating is awesome, and a big part of it is how much the owners care. They're both almost always in there and they listen to feedback and act on it.

One note to improve your experience is that I did over many orders discover that getting many types of pizza kinds and mixing the flavors in your mouth kind of reduces the tastiness. So, I recommend either sticking to one type that you think youd like (and you really cant go wrong with any, I tried most so far), or cleansing your pallette between slices.
