Today I had a very disappointing experience at Salt, Khalifa branch (the food trucks). I ordered fries, and they were extremely salty. When I asked for either a remake or a refund, the staff member I spoke to was not at all cooperative. Instead of helping, he kept dismissing my issue and insisting that he could not change them.
What made the situation worse was his reasoning. He said that because we took a while before coming back to him, he could not replace the fries. This is unreasonable, because the fries were still unopened in the car, and we had only tried about two pieces. We had simply been busy with something else for a short time. On top of that, when we did try the fries, they were still very hotāclear proof that they had not been sitting for long.
It is also important to mention that we were still at the food truck the entire time and had not moved to another location. The fries were with us, untouched and in their packaging, so there was absolutely no valid reason to refuse replacing them.
When I asked for his name so that I could include it in my review, he refused to provide it, which I find very unprofessional and disrespectful. As a customer, I expected my concern to be taken seriously and handled with courtesy, not dismissed without a solution.
This experience left a very negative impression of Salt. The brand is known for its quality and good service, but what I experienced today was the opposite. I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that steps are taken to ensure better customer service in the future.
The most disrespectful and unprofessional part of all of this was the guy not willing to share his name, this is why i included the date and time because this needs to be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy recent visit to Saltās Khalifa city branch was quite an experience. I drove about half an hour since itās the closest branch to me, and I was really looking forward to ordering from them. When I arrived, the area was quite crowded, as itās a food truck with limited parking space. I couldnāt park directly behind the other cars without blocking the road, so I moved forward a bit to the window and waited. I signaled to the staff that I wanted to place an order, but when I rolled down my window and spoke to them, they told me I had to go back and wait in line. I explained that the line was already full and that if I parked there, I would block the entire street and risk getting a fine. I asked if they could please take my order and that I didnāt mind waiting a bit longer since I had driven quite a distance just to eat there. Unfortunately, they insisted that I had to go back to the line, even though there wasnāt really a spot for me to wait. In the end, I had to find another food truck to order from, even though I had really wanted to eat at Salt and had made that long drive. It was honestly a very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday, I had crossed over one of the rudest customers at Salt. The queue had been long with cars parked back to back due to the limited spaceā we could not park properly so had to find a space in front. Upon reaching we asked the staff to take the order of those before us (theyād arrived first), then return to us.
They did try to accommodate to that, however it was still very crowded. By the time the staff member had returned to take our order, a man behind us got out of his car and started yelling about his order. It is entirely unacceptable for this sort of dispute to take its course in front of such place. It would be entirely in everyoneās favor to curate more space for customers, else these types of inconveniences will continue to take place.
The staff handled the man well in spite of his threatening and...
