UPDATE: January 24, 2025 I recommended this place to my colleagues in the company as this is my go to sushi and ramen in AUH "always". But I don't know what happened. We were 4 and we paid 500+ for the all you can eat: The (best seller) Saisho Ramen was not the same as before (it wasn't as tasty as before 😢 only spicy) the sushi was still a delight but I don't know some of my favorites weren't as delicious and like melting in the mouth compared before. My colleagues only liked the salmon saikyo aburi 💔 I felt shy because I was the one who recommended this restaurant to them. 😞 the meat of the salmon and tuna on the nigiris were thin 🍣💔 for the 500+aed, with the changes in flavor, It was not worth it. But still the staff service is 5stars. I'm really dismayed. What happened 😞💔

My review before: The best in abu dhabi! I'm a japanese cuisine lover. I've tried many japanese restaurants here in abudhabi and please believe me that this restaurant is top notch whether dine in or take away at a very reasonable price. We recently had the pleasure of dining at Saisho Sushi restaurant, and I must say, it was an enjoyable experience. The service was good, and the food was delicious. The attentive staff made sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable, which added to the overall positive experience.

However, there are a couple of areas where Saisho Sushi could make some improvements. Firstly, the decor could benefit from removing office folders, which seemed out of place in a sushi restaurant. This change would enhance the ambiance and create a more cohesive dining environment. Additionally, while the service was efficient, I noticed that some of the staff members, particularly the girls, could improve the experience by wearing a warm smile. After all, they work in hospitality, and a friendly demeanor can make a significant difference in the overall customer experience.

Overall, Saisho Sushi offers good service and delicious food, and with a few minor adjustments, it could become an even more outstanding dining destination. I look forward to returning for another delightful meal...

My experience yesterday with my family was extremely disappointing. I had booked a table for Iftar at 5:30 PM and even called again at 6:00 PM to place our order in advance, ensuring the food would be ready on time.

Despite this, the last sushi dish was only served to us at almost 7:00 PM—25 minutes after Iftar time. The quality of the food was noticeably different from what I was used to at this restaurant. On top of that, the service was incredibly slow when taking orders but surprisingly fast when clearing tables.

The management seriously needs to address this issue; otherwise, there’s no point in offering unlimited sushi if each order takes 25 minutes to arrive. It completely ruins the dining experience.
