I arrived at Adagio Hotel Apartments in Abu Dhabi last night (May 22nd) around 10 PM and was shocked by the poor level of service and hygiene. From the moment I stepped in, the reception experience was cold and unwelcoming. The receptionist didn’t even look at me properly. When I asked for valet service, she responded with “he’s not here…” — no courtesy, no apology. The valet never arrived. I asked if the security staff could help with my luggage so I could take my car to the Novotel valet nearby, and she responded with a smirk, saying, “That’s security, he can’t help you.” When I asked who could help, she called someone, but no one came. While waiting, she was simply working on her PC, ignoring me. I asked for the room key after 10 minutes of standing there, and she said, “Ah, sorry, forgot,” even though the keys were right in front of her the entire time. Eventually, I had to carry my own luggage into the lobby, move my car from a poor parking spot, and return to take the bags up to my room myself — still with no assistance from hotel staff. The room itself was in unacceptable condition. The floor was sticky, and worst of all, I found chewing gum stuck to the bed sheet, clearly indicating that the sheets hadn’t been changed after the previous guest. This raises serious health and hygiene concerns — especially the risk of fungal infections or other skin issues due to such negligence. To make matters worse, I had informed the receptionist that my friend would check in around 3 AM. Despite this, they called and woke me up at 3 AM to ask again — something no other hotel has ever done when a note is clearly left on file. Later that night, housekeeping came to replace the dirty sheet — but only the sheet. They intended to reuse the same blanket and pillow covers. I had to intervene and ask, “If your colleague didn’t even change the sheet, how can you be sure the blanket and pillows were changed?” Only then did they replace everything — but it should never come to this level of guest supervision. This stay was stressful, uncomfortable, and completely below any standard expected of a reputable hotel. I personally will never return and strongly advise others to avoid this property.

Disappointing Experience at Aparthotel Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan! We recently stayed at Aparthotel Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan for two nights in a two-bedroom apartment, but unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Our initial apartment on the 7th floor was in an unacceptable state: the kitchen cupboards were dirty, the bedsheets had holes and stains, and they didn’t even cover the full length of the bed, exposing the mattress protectors underneath. The cupboards were broken, and there was a bad smell throughout the apartment. After raising a complaint, we were shown another two-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor, which was equally disappointing. This one had cigarette burns on the rugs and the same lack of cleanliness and maintenance. It was only after threatening to escalate our complaint that we were upgraded to a three-bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. While this was marginally better and didn’t have a smell, it was still far from satisfactory. We were provided with insufficient towels for four adults, and the apartment was not cleaned daily. While the staff were polite, caring, and tried their best to assist, the state of the facilities was shocking. It’s clear that these apartments are designed for long-term lets, where tenants can address maintenance issues over time, but they are not suitable for short-term stays. The property is in dire need of maintenance and upgrading. We would not recommend this aparthotel for short stays unless significant improvements are made.

I recently stayed at Adagio Aparthotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan, and it truly stands out as one of the best accommodations in the city, offering the largest apartments in Abu Dhabi. Whether you're looking for a studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, or even 3-bedroom apartment, this hotel has a variety of options to suit your needs. Each apartment is fully equipped with all the essentials, including a washing machine, stove, oven, fridge, microwave, and all necessary cooking and eating tools, making it perfect for both short and extended stays. The hospitality and service here are exceptional, and I want to give special thanks to Rimsha and Mouad at the reception. They are incredibly helpful, professional, and go above and beyond to ensure every guest has a comfortable experience. The room cleaning service is excellent, with the staff ( Mahes and Islam) keeping everything spotlessly clean, and the room service is impressively quick. The only minor downside during my stay was that they are currently renovating the pool and gym area. While there is an alternative gym available at Bustan Tower on the 15th floor, it has limited bodybuilding machines. Hopefully, once the renovations are completed, guests will be able to fully enjoy the updated gym and pool facilities. Thanks for your kind hospitality and upgrade for my room , I admire the balcony room with open view. Overall, I had a wonderful stay, and I look forward to visiting again when all the amenities are back in full operation!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at adagio and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I made the reservation to check-out, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way.

Booking and Check-in: The appointment process was seamless. I used their online system, which was intuitive and easy to navigate. Upon arrival, the check-in process was swift and efficient, with friendly staff who made me feel welcome right away.

Room Quality: My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the high-quality toiletries and ample storage space. The room had all the necessary comforts and a work desk. The air conditioning was quiet and effective, which made for a restful sleep.

Amenities and Services: The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a fully equipped fitness center, a lovely outdoor pool, and a cozy lounge area. I also had the chance to dine at the on-site restaurant, where the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive but not overbearing, always making sure guests were satisfied.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located near key attractions, with easy access to public transportation, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. I was able to explore the city with ease, thanks to its central location.

Staff and Service: One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service. Every staff member, from the front desk to housekeeping, Remsha and shubkaran was friendly, professional, and eager to assist with any requests. They really made an effort to ensure my comfort throughout my stay.

Check-out: The check-out process was just as smooth as the check-in. The staff ensured everything was in order, and I was quickly on my way.

Overall Experience: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at [Hotel Name] and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located, and customer-oriented hotel experience. The attention to detail, high-quality service, and range of amenities make it a standout choice. I will certainly be returning on my next trip...

It's unacceptable how bad the level of service is, the room is dirty and smells really bad, and lacks basic amenities (no single tissue box and only 2 garbage tins throughout the apartment in the bathroom and kitchen). The check in was delayed by more than an hour despite us arriving at 4 pm and me checking in online, keeping in mind that we had 3 children and just arrived from airport. I booked for a whole week but we couldn't bear more than a single day. We checked out the second day and the refund is still awaited.

Valet service was bad (more than half an hour wait). Even receiving the trolly for the checkout was delayed. Based on the dirtiness of the room, we couldn't risk ordering any food from the room service (I'M. not sure if it's available anyhow).

This was the "executive" 3 bedroom apartment - supposedly the highest end in terms of rooms available. I ask any sensible person to check in the same room we booked to see if it's acceptable for the brand name to have a room this bad under their name.

Only positive was the receptionist. I can't recall her name (from Philippines) but she at least apologised as she was the one to check us in and then out the next day.

Keep in mind that moving luggage of three kids is not an easy task. However it was that bad that we decided to waste half a day from our trip rather than continue the disaster that is Adagio. We checked in another aparthotel nearby carrying another respectful name and although the prices are very much similar, it felt like checking into a 7 star hotel from a 1 star.

I'M. never writing reviews on Google nor email surveys. But this experience still has a bad taste in me that I had to...
