Marasea Restaurant — Restaurant in Al Seef

Last night we had a valentines dinner, the manager take us some seats give the menu then leaves us without asking what we want for the 5course dinner, after 40mins my wife tell the waitress our order because nobody asking us about what we want to order or even bother us if we want some drinks, after few more mins I’m asking the some waitress where is the food and AGAIN even the manager keep ignoring us, nobody wants to eye contact with us because we need something , when they walking near to us they gonna walk fast so they’re not gonna bother, we book online for our dinner I dnt want to just get out there, but still I’m hoping they gonna give something,

Now it’s been 1:41 mins waiting it’s been ridiculous for the amount of waiting , then my wife ask the manager , they’re respond is they forget to punch the our order but yet nobody asking about us even water for that amount time, this waitress with the blue jacket and blue pants keep ignoring us even if we say follow up the order.

after 2:20 mins appetizer have been arrive, I tell them to give us everything until main course because we’re starving, yet nobody respond, my wife AGAIN need to go out of the table just to tell them that give us the main course.

the food was great yet the communication of the dining and kitchen is very low. I keep my temper cool for the whole night just to not ruin my valentine dinner but still the service staff to manager RUIN it.

We’re gonna book in the hotel this coming days , but I think we’re gonna change for the better. Not gonna enter that hotel again. If the staff is untrained and for sure the...

Came in at 22:00 and ordered steak and it reached us after 23:00... The side potato fries were burnt (see photo). The waiter and the manager kept telling us they werent burnt... Look at the quantity and the colour. I assure you they tasted bitter and burnt.

For appetizer we ordered Prawn tempura, veg tempura and veg spring rolls and got prawn tempura, calamari rings and calamari rings!? ... I had asked the waiter if it was veg, he said yes and i thought may be it was onions but they were calamari.

Pina colada was yellow in colour and tasted like pineapple juice minus the coconut.

By far the worst restaurant experience of my life nothing was right. We came after an amazing spa experience and Marasea killed it!!! Would never recommend anyone to eat here at all.

Seafood fine-dining experience. Definitely a 10 out of 10. The sushi is amazing and delicious. Hot pot is flavorful. The mussels were very tasty paired with the egg fried rice. Loved the tiger prawns as well, they were just so well cooked. And the desserts from the desserts trolley was overwhelmingly sweet. Special thanks to Chef Marlon and his team.
