77 Asia, Al Barsha — Restaurant in Dubai

I watch a lot of food vlogs in YouTube and I always wanted to try the Asian food... Recently I saw this video by one of the Instagram food vlogger - 'Little Foodie' (FOLLOW) that showed 1aed Laksa... Laksa was one of the Asian dishes I wanted to try, infact I had been to some places in UAE and came back as most of the prices started at a range, which were a little more for me... But when I saw this 1 aed, I wanted try and when I asked for what the catch was, I was told there was nothing and as I was commenting more I got an unexpected DM from an Angel - 'Little Foodie's who offered me a 200aed voucher to use it at 77 Asia and fulfil my wish...... Which I did and I took wife and my 5yr old daughter too. We loved it and it was really a different experience for our taste buds.

I would surely suggest every Asian food lovers or those who are like me, who want to try (you may not be lucky with an angel)... The pricing may be slightly high for people who have other priorities (like me), but when I saw the quantity of the food, it was worth.

Hello, this is not to discredit or try to be entitled in this review but to share my honest opinion and experience.

I ordered online for pick-up, one Bulalo - beef soup (large) and Chicken sisig. When my dad came back we immediately went on for our dinner and the first thing we noticed is there’s no enough soup broth - (he actually asked the staff politely if the soup broth is full enough) that’s the reason we ordered ‘Bulalo’ in the first place and take note we ordered it in large size with an additional cost. My mom who’s not even a tiniest bit of being nit-picky and being critical had a hard time chewing the beef since it’s very dry and has a texture of a rubber.

I’m the one whose disappointed on their behalf since I suggested this place to them and our first time ordering - in all Arjan area you do have a wide selection of Asian cuisines.

I live near by and have never noticed this place.. It was recommended to so I had to pay them a visit.

Luckily I went there on Sunday at around 530 for an early dinner and late lunch.. Even then, it was packed.. Let me put it in prospective. The place is SMALL , can barely fit 10 people but still most tables were full but we ended up with a table for two..

We were not aware that they had a campaign for a 1 Dirham Laksa..

Anyway, we started with the Laksa (full of flavors. Each sip burst with all kind of flavors. I loved it) then went for the Pad Thai (very well made) and the Chicken Basil Stir Fry with rice (another wonderful dish).

Overall the experience was one that will force me to come back again.

The food was good .. The vibe was nice .. The prices were perfect.
