Their tagline "A bliss from the first glance to the last bite" do them complete justice. As i was impressed by the visual of their Christmas cake, and deeply moved by the taste of its Vanilla flavour and buttercream filling. Not to mention their delivery was on time.

Most bakeries compromise on their quality and taste while trying to desperately compete with visuals of elaborate cake decorations, that is currently the ongoing trend. But Cakesmith (Douart) gave it their all and came out with full 10/10 for both in the looks and taste department. Me and my family couldn't stop talking about it even after finishing the cake in one sitting (which is a first in my whole life by the way). The taste itself filled our hearts with complete joy and happiness and is forever registered on our minds. We will never compromise on our taste again for any cakes. I ordered from Cake Smith for my birthday, hoping to treat myself to something special, but the experience was incredibly disappointing.

First, I ordered the Hazelnut Nutella Tart, but what I received was clearly not what I ordered. The dessert was a completely different shape, color, and texture, it looked like a fudge, not a tart. When I contacted the shop to clarify, I was gaslighted and told it was the correct item, despite the obvious difference.

The dessert also arrived extremely hot, as if it had been sitting in the sun, which completely ruined the quality. When I mentioned this, the staff rudely dismissed my concern, blaming the delivery company and showing zero accountability or care.

Worst of all, the way I was spoken to made me feel like I was being argued with, not helped. As a customer, I expected kindness and basic respect. Instead, I was left feeling upset...
