Emerald Restaurant (Al Quoz) — Restaurant in Dubai

Delivery. Never ever order Delivery from here. They are the slowest and rudest people. When i called asking where the driver was because it was more than 40 minutes, the rude guy who answered my call lied saying i ordered 30 minutes ago and their standard Delivery time is 40 minutes. It doesn't take that much time even when you order at the restaurant. It take less than 20 minutes. Like seriously are you Delivering in Al Barsha? I literally live opposite to your restaurant. Why would it take such a long long time to deliver in the same area? I tried to cancel my order but they refused. After 40 minutes had to force feed myself a soggy, cold tasteless shawarma. Note: If it's going to take such a long time and you have other deliveries too then inform your customer before so that they can decide.

Specifically, I waited 25 minutes for a mushroom rice dish, which was excessive. The empty plate was served 20 minutes prior, and surprisingly, no salad was provided. While some menu items were reasonably priced, others didn't justify the cost.

Ordered chai, kallummakkaaya & pazhampori.

-Chai: good-average, was as per my liking. -Kallummakkaya: finally found a decent one in Dubai! Really does justice to the authentic recipe and I definitely recommend trying it. Priced at 3AED, the size is also not too small, may be a bit spicy for some. -Pazhampori: tasty but you may find it a bit soggy, if you are a fan of crispy pazhampori, this may not be the one you are looking for, but not too bad either.
