We've been to Anne-Sophie's Lausanne restaurant a few times. I personally consider it to be the best restaurant in the world having tried Eleven Madison and others. The exceptional location, food and service that has a touch of French humour that we enjoy. It makes us feel like we're home again every time we go. I've also heard exceptional feedback from our friends about Valence (3 Michelin star) and London (now closed) so perhaps our expectations were a little high. The location in dubai is delightful and the service began well. The cocktails and pre-dinner canapés were delightful. As we moved to dinner the air-conditioning blowing directly above my seat on my back was resolved with a pashmina but it continued to blow cold air, I'm not sure this would have happened at other locations. moving the table or reducing the air conditioner would be so much more comfortable. The food arrived perfectly, when the tea didn't arrive for one of or guests and all other drinks had we waited before enquiring and no apology was made, rather an excuse of "we weren't sure which white tea you wanted" however there's only one on the menu. After this, the waiter who originally arrived at our table dancing on his feet calmed down and one may use the French word "revendicateur". I'm fairly confident the restaurant wouldn't have gotten a Michelin star for the service we received. A note, the wine was good however not as exceptional as in other locations, perhaps that's to do with Dubai rules and regulations on wine importations. We're talking upwards of 50 euros a glass, we had 2..... On the food, Berlangot, Veal and Beef were exquisite, recommend all of them. I didn't see the famous "Bar de Jacques Pic" on the menu which also may be due to the location. Some improvement I would suggest to the the assistant general manager Thomas Berthault: - Please make note of the seats that have air con blowing on them and mention this to guests before seating. Ideally reduce the air con. - Too many different servers at the table, which also adds to the confusion, forgotten drinks are inevitable. We only managed to build a relationship with the delightful sommelier. - There was no music and then at some point we heard music in the restaurant. Either is fine but which is it? - Dubai is a location known for it's exceptional service, especially compared to Europe, I feel this was a little short, especially compared to Lausanne. Although I'm not sure we'll return, we thank you and do wish you every success.

La Dame de Pic is located on the 25th floor of The Link, One&Only One Za'abeel. Food is exquisite and the service is impeccable. You can either have a 7 course meal or the 5 course meal.

Yesterday, three generations of my family dined at La Dame de Pic Dubai, the restaurant of third-generation Michelin-starred chef Sophie Pic. From the very first moment, we were captivated not just by the elegance of the setting and the flawless service, but by the genuine artistry behind every dish. The meal began with a delightful, playful introduction: a carrot and coffee-infused bite that was as imaginative as it was delicious. Each course that followed was masterfully composed, culminating in a wagyu main course cooked to perfection tender, rich, and exquisitely balanced. And then, the poached peach so delicately prepared and so emotionally resonant that it truly brought tears to my eyes. It was a moment that reminded us all how food can be both art and emotion. Service throughout the evening was impeccable: every plate arrived in perfect synchrony, cleared with quiet precision, and the pacing of the courses was seamless. Watching the open kitchen, the calm choreography of chefs and servers added to the sense of wonder. Dining at La Dame de Pic Dubai was not just a meal, but an experience shared across generations a memory we will treasure. It was, quite simply, perfection. We will definitely be back there soon. A special mention must go to Marieanna, who was so welcoming, informative, and attentive throughout the evening. Her warmth and professionalism made the experience even more memorable.

"That was the best food I've had in Dubai so far" said my dining partner and I tend to agree. Fabulous haute cuisine that achieves wondrous results across a 5 or 7 course tasting menu. We went for the extended menu. From the amouse bouche we knew we were in for a treat - the second of which was a burrata foam with smoked melon and shaved almonds, paired with a tea concoction that matched the smokiness. In fact the beverage pairings were just as outstanding as the food, and kudos for the fabulously eclectic non alcoholic options. A Panamanian coffee that was brewed tableside to match a perfectly cooked wagyu filet was truly outstanding, and preferable to the very fine red wine I was offered (I went for alcoholic pairing while my partner went non alcoholic). A grilled John Dory filet had hints of tandoori flavor, local white beans with oscietra caviar astounded in terms of texture and depth of flavor. Little home made pasta parcels filled with 24 month aged Comte cheese in a girolle cream defied imagination in terms of their richness and depth of flavor. The dinner ended with a fantastic set of desserts. Staff were also outstanding, each member of the team bringing their deep knowledge and wonderful personality to the dining experience. It's no surprise this restaurant earned a Michelin star in record time - it's really aiming for more than one, as well it should be. The only criticism is aimed at the operators of the venue the Link in which this restaurant is situated. Despite of the cavernous size of the space, we could hear music from a nightclub at the other end of the building for the entire night. Za'abeel, please put a sound proof door on this to allow your premium tenant to shine and complete the sensory experience it is here to deliver. In the meanwhile I recommend diners ask to be seated in the far end of the restaurant to avoid sound cacophony of two...
