Worst experience since years in this Place !

We were one of the first guests when this place opened . We came back 1-2 times / year when being in Dubai. Now it seems like the whole lower management team changed, while having completely new priorities and guests who are coming back are not important any more. Chris Zafeiropoulos ( General manager) who was there during the evening yesterday didn’t care at all about all the discussions.

I booked the highest category, which is „VIP tabel“ for 1000 AED per person. This normally ensures that you are getting a better view table. Suddenly, when I asked for a different table, because I didn’t like the proposed one, the new manager informed me, that there are tables for a higher per person spend (1500 AED & more) and that he can’t give me the table I wanted. This is written no where that there are other categories !!!!!! His alternative to my table was a table in a worse area . The greatest thing was , that the table I wanted had 6 people at the end , who were drinking Red Bull, cocktails and shots and ate a bit of food. Definitely not for 1500 AED x 6 = 9000 AED !

The food was good in the beginning (years ago) , when the Greek cook was there , now everything changed . The food was served within 10 minutes, which was already strange and it is very average , very small portions , no good choice in the menu anymore and quality decreased hardly. Some dishes came cold or almost cold. After the Gyoza I still feel stomach sick. Furthermore, the second bottle of champagne we almost served ourselves, maybe because it’s only a 985 AED one.

The Theater had always the focus on costumes and an amazing show. The show was always fantastic, non stop for almost 3 hours . Now there is no real storyline , the acts are split a lot throughout the whole evening, while having long pauses.

The most sad thing: very strange guest audience in sneakers , tshirs , some in caps…no dress code, but it’s written everywhere how strict everything is!

Before, they were only high quality people , now it seems like it’s easily accessible for everyone and almost like an average place with big „women tables“ , which are dressed...

This is one of the worst experiences of my life and from the beginning of the booking until the end was like that!

I took the decision to take my wife to her birthday party because she was willing to go there a long time, so I did it as a surprise for the booking!

I request something at least as a birthday for her so the lady very cold and no sympathy answer only if you buy a 5000 dhs ahead we do a candle show even you booked a VIP TABLE 🙄 ANYWAYS I MOVED FORWARD

I requested then next to stage and when we arrived they wanted to put us far of the stage and asking and my face not happy at all moved us closer 🙄🙄🙄 but we noticed it was a table next to stage but they keep it for specific people and they provide service to people are local the rest we have to be behind waiters to provide service

After I complaint to someone called SergeiHE SAID I WONT LEAVE YOU TONIGHT UNTIL U FEEL HAPPY 😂 I THOUGHT HE WAS GOING TO PROVIDE AT LEAST AN AMAZING SERVICE TO BALANCE MY NIGHT 😂😂😂😂 THIS GUY DIDNT SHOW UP AGAIN AND JUST SAW HIM WHEN I WAS LEAVING ITS INCREDIBLE 😂😂😂 THIS PLACE WAS A JOKE

ALSO FORGOT MY DRINKS MANY TIMES THE ONE THAT TRIED HIS BEST EVEN HE WAS IN CHARGE OF OTHER TABLES WAS VALENTINO SHE WAS LOOKING POLITE AND SMILING

BUT PLEASE GUYS FROM THE THEQER EMPLOYEES LOOKS LIKE THEY GET PAY A MISERY CAUSE THEY DONT SMILE JUST HARD FACES

Friday afternoon 13th of September 2024 i calleed The #Theater Dubai in #Fairmont and asked for a VIP table. I was told that they will put me on waiting list. Half an hour later the lady by the name Angelina called me and said there was a cancelation and I need to confirm my booking by giving her my credit card details over the phone. While i know that they always confirm bookings by sending a link via their confirmation system I trusted her and gave her all details of my credit card including the cvs code recorded behind the card. This is the first time i share my credit card details over the phone. At around 8.am when i am supposed to be sleeping after a very late night party at the Theater, i received a message of a debit for AED 2,999 a purchase from Apple Store. I became so sure that staff at Theater have sold my details for a share and benefit. I immediately contacted my bank and deactivated the credit card. At 12pm (when Theater starts accepting calls) i called them. The same lady Angelina answered, and I explained the issue to her. I felt she kind of knew this. She asked me to share with her the debit message i got from my bank and promised that management will contact me asap. I waited for almost 12 hours and got no call.

Write a review detailing the above and show how disappointed i am. I am sure this is not the first time it happens. So i mean for this review is to warn visitors of the Theater to be careful of sharing their credit card details...
