My colleagues and i had an awful and pathetic experience at this branch of Al Maraheb. The rice served with all the individual dishes was not fresh - at least they could have warmed it - even if from the previous day. We requested for some additional sides(payable) - which we had to remind the server 3-4 times to finally receive it. Even a request for a straw for the drinks being served needed several reminders.
The A/C at this branch was not functioning - the manager told us that this is the max cooling - however one of the servers mentioned that it is not working at all. The server’s statement seemed more acceptable as there were air coolers present - but accommodating other tables.
The worst part - after we were done with our food - and went to pay at the cashier - apparently the restaurant manager ended up charging our bill to another customer. What is rather more upsetting: he complained that he was overwhelmed and the restaurant is so busy and that due to this mishap he will lose money. He charged another customer our table’s bill, which was a lot more than that customer was suppose to pay and of course still charged us per our table’s bill. This is not a good gesture and rather a poor service by the restaurant.
Please close down the branch if you are understaffed and selling excuses that it is a Friday afternoon. Never going to Al...

Highly overrated, mediocre food, and no attention. Definitely a no if you want a good mandi.
The place has family rooms but they aren't exactly clean, the carpets need cleaning, there stains & smell of oil and stale food & the most annoying thig was the AC was not working, we have complained to change the room but Staffs are not attentive at all and most of them appears to be really lazy & carefree and they were giving excuses after excuses (since the kids were so hungry & no other options were available, we thought to give a try).
The food is low quality just like any other commercialised Mandi restaurant. Service is equally bad, you need to call them each time for what ever you need. Definitely a no if you want a good mandi.
The meals weren't exactly cheap, unlike other famous Mandi restaurnts. a. They dont serve soup on fridays (already pointed in some other reviews - @Qusai Majid). b. The salads served were below avereage. c. They are charging 3aed for the black tea, which is served free in most of the other famous Mandi restaurnts. (didnt mentioned anywhere, you'll notice when you...
Read moreI recently dined at Maraheb Restaurant on Sheikh Zayed Road and while there were a few things I enjoyed about the meal, there were also some disappointments.
One of the standout dishes was the salta fasah, which was served with a humongous piece of bread. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the bread added a nice contrast in texture. However, the haneeth was not as impressive. It was a bit dry and lacked flavor.
Another issue I had with the restaurant was the temperature. The air conditioning was not working properly and the dining area was quite hot, which made for an uncomfortable experience.
Additionally, the rice and mandi sauce were a bit bland and didn't have much flavor. This was disappointing considering that mandi is typically known for its bold and aromatic spices.
Finally, the ambience of the restaurant was not what I would expect from a mandi establishment. It was quite loud and not very calming or peaceful.
Overall, while I did enjoy the salta fasah, the haneeth, temperature, rice and mandi sauce, and ambience were all disappointments. For these reasons, I would give Maraheb Restaurant a rating of...
