The Jam jar has been one of the best places to discover so far this year! It’s located in the main art hub of Dubai, Serkal Avenue. It’s so lively and has a wonderful team! One of my best friends teaches art classes there (the beauty in the pics). These classes are so therapeutic and easy going. It is exactly what you need to do on a Saturday morning before starting the thrill and rush of a new working week. They offer a variety of packages which you can check on their website. They offer classes, events, birthday parties, pet adoption days.. etc. As part of the classes you get the canvas and a free flow supply of paint. One of the amazing things about them is they recycle the colors that are left from classes so sometimes the color you are straining to achieved is already mixed in a small container waiting for you to pick it up! it’s such lovely place to be and something I look forward to every Saturday morning! My son, who has so much interest and creativity in Art, attended a class on Thursday in The Jamjar, two hour session, and in this whole time he only mixed few colours to make a new colour, the rest of the time there were instructions and theory (basically talk) from the instructor. The class was boring and for a kid to keep listening for that long was not encouraging to come back. I paid a bit more than 280 AED for this session and my son said he doesn't ever want to come back. I am really disappointed by the procedures, the studio does look amazing, there are plenty of art supplies but the kids in this particular class were exposed to limited resources. I am sorry but this class was not worth the money paid for and I wish they could understand kids want to paint not sit in school-like situation again after a whole day at...

We’ve been regulars at the jamjar for years, and we couldn’t imagine a better place for our son to explore and grow his creativity! He started weekly art classes there when he was just 3 years old and immediately connected with the space and the experience.

The entire staff and all the teachers are truly wonderful – they create such a warm, welcoming, and family-like environment. A special thank you goes to Teacher Rahma, who holds a special place in our son’s heart. It’s so beautiful to see how she supports and nurtures his creative journey with such kindness and care.

We’ve also celebrated birthday parties at the studio, and they’ve been a huge hit every single time – we’d happily do it every year!
