Having experienced their first venture at We Mart in Deira, I was curious to see how this new location would measure up—and it did not disappoint.

Located in the lively food court of Silicon Central Mall, Hongkong Delights offers flavorful dishes that hit the spot. The menu focuses on familiar comfort food with a Hong Kong twist, and the taste definitely delivers.

I tried the prawn toast and shrimp fried rice. The prawn toast was crispy and well-seasoned, with a generous topping of shrimp paste and a sprinkling of sesame seeds and chives. It had a great texture and was served over crispy rice noodles for an added crunch.

The shrimp fried rice was equally satisfying—fragrant, well-balanced, and filled with juicy prawns, scrambled egg, and diced vegetables. Served with cucumber slices, lime, and chili fish sauce on the side, it allowed for a nice touch of brightness and spice.

I have been there many times and got their amazing desserts. This time we went, on a Wendsday, and I ordered their chicken teriyaki meal, came w/ miso soup, seaweed and one crispy prawn. Sadly it seems the meal was premade, they had stuck it in the microwave to heat it up. So the top was cold, inside the rice was hot and overall uneadable. So I opted for dessert and left the rest. Price was amazing. But this one food was just gross. I saw they were making everything fresh (or so it seems) but the teriyaki dish was premade and microwaved. I do hope they do better. Might give them one more try.l for the food. But service was good. Everyone was smiling and desserts...
