Arabica is one of the worst coffee shops I’ve visited in the UAE. I ordered a Kyoto latte and an espresso with one pump of condensed milk. The cashier told me to inform the barista about the condensed milk, but when I went to collect my drinks, the barista refused to add it. She claimed, "This is not from our standards." I explained that I wasn’t asking for anything unusual—just an espresso with condensed milk instead of sugar, and I was willing to pay for it. Despite that, they still refused. I pointed out that if they weren’t going to accommodate the request, why did the cashier tell me to inform the barista in the first place? It felt like they were just trying to take customers’ money without considering their preferences. What frustrated me the most was their complete disregard for customer satisfaction, which contradicts the UAE’s commitment to excellent service. This review is simply to share my experience. The downside: Very limited vegan (dairy-free) options - for coffee it was down to Americano or Honey Latté. I got the Honey Latté. For food it was only a date ball thingi! The upside- Pleasant surprise- the date ball thingi was large and the best I ever had. ❤️ The coffee had good flavor but was weak for my taste. I will try a different type next time. Atmosphere is wonderful and worth coming for. Calm and bright, comfortable, joyful. Minimalism done right with live plants. The staff was knowledgeable about the product contents.
