Me and a friend (both Thai) been traveling around Scotland and when googling Thai food we thought to check this place out, first impressions of the venue was wow, menu look mouth watering. We ordered what is considered to be standard dishes in Thailand and we been tasting the Thai flavours all over the U.K. but this is the only one I had to post a long review for.

We ordered the kor moo yang (grilled pork neck), Kao kai giew (rice and Thai style omelet) and the pad krapow moo sup Kai dao (stir fried minced pork with egg) and the chicken boxer.

Now maybe the restaurant has a “western approach” to these dishes but it’s the worst I had for a fine dining experience.

The moo yang (pork neck) is supposed to be slightly fatty and melts in your mouth but this was tough, should also be served with jim Jeaw sauce (in this case tamarind sauce).

Kai giew (thai omelet) is supposed to be golden with a splash of fish sauce but this one was burnt and white.

Pad krapow was nothing like the photo when I asked if it was minced pork I got a confirmation, only to find out it was only minced chicken they had. Sauce was sweet Not Savoury.

Finally the chicken boxers, well I since I guess this is how the dish is supposed to taste then I can say it was okay.

Service was good but food was a no no, maybe the chief for lunch was not Thai or experienced in making Thai dishes. Hopefully dinner...

I had a wonderful experience at this extraordinarily flavorful Thai restaurant. The wait staff was super attentive, and my waitperson was very invested in ensuring That my dining experience was perfect We had short discussions about each thing I ordered, and since I like it spicy, she interacted with the chef to make my mango sticky rice, dessert a spicy-sweet delight. Finally, chopped Thai chilies were served alongside fresh, juicy mango And sweet, sticky coconut rice. Delicious! I love it when a restaurant is really interested in your taste, and willing to augment their dishes to suit. I got extra condiments with my main course, which was also delicious. It was pad Thai noodles with a variety of seafood, and the spice was level three, which was absolutely perfect: hot enough for someone who REALLY likes the spice, but not so hot that you couldn’t taste it. My waitperson‘s last name was White, and I think her first name was Jessica, and she was the epitome of what all weight staff should be. A college student, she has a bright future in front of her, and made my solo dining experience even better by sharing a bit of her story with me when I asked.

I’m from Houston, Texas, and this was the second time I had the privilege to visit this restaurant, and it certainly won’t be the last. As an added bonus, it was Thai new year, and they gave me a complementary glass...

Went out for my 50th birthday celebration with wife daughter and her boyfriend. Absolutely stunning building inside and out. Sat at our table and shown the menu, then waited 15mins to get drinks order taken... however the waitress seemed to be rushed as we had to say 3 times eh sorry we've not all ordered as yet. I ordered a bottle of Asian Lager and the glass had just came from the dishwasher so was warm which wasn't great. Then some 35 mins later our starters arrived...which were amazing... looking and tasted. At 930 our mains finally arrived...bear in mind we sat down at 750...we were all very hungry and the mood of the evening was changing. We had to call the waitress 3 times to reorder drinks during that 100 mins we waited for our food...so we had our mains and decided to move on. The food was absolutely amazing however the service was absolutely shocking. We always leave a tip even if service wasn't great however I insisted noone leave a tip last night as the service was that bad. I understand if they are really busy however the 2 tables next to us had their 3 courses and drinks and were done and gone by the time our mains came out. Would I visit again...I'd be very...

The food was good and I would rate it 4/5. I had the Beef Penang curry which had a rich coconut flavour and various species such as Kaffir lime leaves, also an underlying nutty flavour. It was spicy but not so overpowering that you couldn't taste the other flavours of the dish. However, the time taken for the food to arrive was longer than expected. The desert also took as long as the food took to arrive which is unusual as one of the desserts was scoops of ice-cream; of which the ice-cream was said to be homemade but was icy and lacked a definitive vanilla flavor. Despite this the other desert, named the chocolate bombe was a hollow spherical dark chocolate ball with crushed peanuts inside surrounding another solid ball of dense chocolate ice-cream. Then poured over was a hot salted caramel sauce that semi melted the hollow chocolate ball. Combined these flavours were absolutely delicious. The service was also great despite the longer waiting times for the food and dessert. Overall, I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
