I love the interior design of the restaurant. The manager’s service is amazing! she recommended dishes and how to order food for us patiently since it’s our first visit. I enjoyed the calm background music even the floor is a bit noisy. The food comes very quickly and they’re all fresh, nicely plated, and tasty! The coconut pork adobo that I ordered is sweet, and I can tell that the pork is deep-fried and braised. It is tender but not too soft, with the perfect ratio of lean meat, fat, and skin. My garlic fried rice I’ll give a 10/10 - approved by my east Asian tongue. My friend ordered a sizzling sisig with tofu. The tofu is in a very big portion and nicely deep-fried - all with crispy edges. I will comeback and try the crispy pata that the staff recommended me. Just one thing that needs to be improved: please can the staff reminds the customers if they want their dish spicy or not? It’s our first visit so we totally forgot that all dishes have a non-spicy base and we do want the heat from Philippine! I really enjoyed the visit overall:)

Kultura Aberdeen delivers a standout showcase of traditional Filipino cuisine with precision and heart. The meal began with chicharon bulaklak, golden, crisp, and perfectly balanced between richness and crunch. The sisig arrived sizzling, its savory complexity and tangy brightness creating a bold and memorable bite. The kare kare made with tender oxtail featured a deeply nutty peanut sauce, harmoniously complemented by a well executed bagoong. The pork barbecue was delicately charred, juicy, and subtly sweet with a hint of smokiness. For dessert, the mango graham offered a light tropical contrast, while the halo halo brought the experience to a playful and satisfying close, layered, textured, and refreshingly indulgent. A thoughtful and confident expression of Filipino culinary heritage in the heart of Aberdeen.

Anyone who adores Filipino food knows how difficult it can be living in Scotland when the cravings hit. This restaurant opening is a godsend. When I heard about this restaurant opening, I shifted around all my plans to make it my very next meal. I don't regret doing that. It doesn't disappoint. I opted to try a Tofu Sisig with ensaladang mangga and wasn't disappointed. The Tofu was crispy and still a moist texture covered in a creamy sauce with just the slightest kick. Every bite was so good. The salad was also a perfect side in the warm weather. Lastly, I made room for Halo Halo. I just had to. Needless to say, I will be back.

I don't usually give negative reviews however feel that this is a necessary review!

visited this place yesterday, looking forward to it after seeing the raving reviews, however we left bitterly disappointed, contemplated walking out and discussion around not paying (however we did!!!) we also missed our viewing at the cinema.

We booked for 7.30, being sat by 7.45. The waiter was very busy, rushing about each table, running up and down the stairs (very hashed). We ordered our food (opting for the tapas menu). Advised to order what we wanted and then top up as required. We ordered 6 of the 13 dishes available, along with rice and chips...our drinks came quick... However it wasn't until 9pm before we got 1 dish (we were told we could only have the seat for 2 hours and we waited 1.5hrs for the first dish !!!) ... Which was something we didn't ask for (chicken wings), we accepted them however on eating them, 3 our of the 6 on the plate was bloody and couldn't be eaten. We decided at this point that we would order the remainder of the menu to ensure that we didn't wait for that length of time again.

Around 20 mins 4 more dishes came, again not the previous 6 that was first requested. Another waiter came and told us that with tapas we get what is cooked... It was so random.... Some plates we got two dishes of something we didn't want!

The food was extremely fatty, overcooked and bland ( the squid was like eating a bouncy ball and full of squid ink!)... The grilled prawns was so dry. The garlic rice was overcooked and stodgy (not sticky) and didn't taste of garlic.

We eventually gave up at 10pm.... We hadnt received 5 of the dishes, nor received our chips that was ordered at 7.45pm.

Paid the bill which was £30 pp...for the tapas alone... Then drinks on top... As you can imagine No tip was given, but thanks to the waiter.

I'm hoping that this was an off night for the restaurant, or maybe we were unlucky.... However going by another review, it was appear that they had a...

Really was excited to try this as I had seen all the amazing reviews and so far no one had said anything bad. On first arrival we were told that there was VAT added onto the prices already on the menu, which means that the prices displayed on the menu are all 20% more. Nothing on the Facebook or on the menus says this and we were told it's due to them updating the menu which is hard to believe. Me and my partner ordered the tapas and 2 teas. The tapas was okay, the sides of garlic rice and fries were serviceable but the meat was well done but all came out at once and we were left with no room on our table which made things awkward. At the end we still had a few dishes left and asked if we could take them away, I was shocked to find out that there is a £10 takeaway charge (oh and 20% vat on top of that) for a single small plastic container. Honestly if the prices were reflective of what is actually on the menu I could maybe excuse the food not being as great as touted, but getting a surprise 20% mandatory amount added onto an already expensive bill before you've even sat down really left a sour taste in my mouth. I hope that the owners take note that this really isn't okay to advertise prices like this and has made me very reluctant to come back. Saying you're updating the menu isn't an excuse when you are making constant social media posts showing off new menus for food and drinks. Printing new menus or adding a note to existing menus would not be a...

Lovely restaurant, nice staff and nice food.

However we were waiting for 25mins before we got asked for our drinks. We ordered everything at once as we didn’t want to risk waiting another 25mins to then order food.

Tables that came in after us got served first which was frustrating but perhaps because they were closer to staff walking past.

The staff were lovely but they all seemed to be running around and didn’t have set roles or sections. Nobody was walking past our section so we couldn’t even wave to get their attention. After we finished our food we were waiting another 20mins for someone to take our dishes but nobody did. It was strange as they had a queue of people waiting to be seated so I would have thought a quick turnover of tables would have been the goal. We eventually had to go up to staff to ask for the bill. We gave our table number and the staff didn’t know which table that referred to.

The whole menu (bar a couple of items) could be made gluten free (woohoo!) but this wasn’t advertised on the menu. Having serious allergies and seeing items described as having ‘soy sauce’ etc made me a bit nervous - was it gluten free soy sauce or perhaps they hadn’t realised what has gluten. This is a quick fix though!

I think there needs to be better signage for where the toilets are located and the bell the chefs rang needs changed- it was really...
