M&S Cafe Holmbush — Restaurant in Adur

Got to cafe 10 minutes after opening to order coffee & breakfast. Two people in front of us who only wanted coffee, thanks to the coffee machines dribbling out slowly it took just under 15 minutes to be served, then the cashier lady had to keep asking the kitchen if they were ready & what items were available. Two order till points open & couple of people at other till the wait was as bad.

Breakfasts did come out fairly quickly but over £25 spent, it’s expensive, butter pats for the toast literally frozen.

When we left half hour later one till only open & about 20 people in the queue snaking into the children’s wear department.

Have used before & it’s been slow but now ridiculous, will use Costa outside in future. Suggest M&S close this cafe as it’s not fit...

Hit and miss with food. Good service depends who's on shift. I've been several times recently, each time spending quite a bit on food and drink, as had several family members with me. Each time hot drinks were tepid, food under or overcooked or wrong food brought out. Had to wait far too long, without any pre-warning or apology. Attitude of some staff, unfriendly and looked fed-up! The next few times, more of the same mishaps, so just have drinks now, as not worth spending copious amounts of money on! Disappointing to...

Visited M&S cafe holmbush for lunch. Tried to order mushroom & avocado (no mushrooms). Tried to order cheese & tuna chiabatta (no tuna). Here's a tip. Go nextdoor to your own foodhall and get some? 😆

My partner ordered plain avocado toast it was nice but no dressing on the salad so was a little plain.

In the end I opted for a bacon roll which was delicious and also a decaf coffee which was equally good. Get there early (around 12) otherwise the queues start piling up. We were served quickly...
