Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Adur

Absolutely horrendous service we had by 2 dark haired girls on the 18th October at 4/5pm! me and my daughter where served but shortly after my mother that suffers with serve mental health issues which is undoubtedly not unrecognised had ordered a drink and food and she was told the tills where not working approximately 1/2 minutes after I ordered, the lady looked at my mother and carried on writting her stock take, and told her she can take her order in a minute. Then the lady making the drinks decided to be rude and tell me that I better shut up otherwise she will put my drink in a take away cup! I can understand the times and maybe the store was closing but the service was appalling and we were told to leave as she had told my mother she was rude when actually the service she provided was really appalling! I think this store needs a serious look at customer service as this was definitely not the right approach nor the correct way to speak to a customer! We had been coming to this store for a while and the manager of Costa is absolutely lovely very disappointing for the other 2 members of staff! We will not...

Visited this week and thought I would try their breakfast that finishes at 11:30, arrived nearly ten minutes before this only to wait in queue as only one person taking the money and making the drinks, when I eventually got to the till a second person asked me what I wanted and when I said breakfast she abruptly told me we were too late as it was 11:33. I tried to explain that they it was just too late and the delay was down to them not serving me quicker. She told me she had finished breakfast and we couldn’t have any. So based on my experience if you think you can pick something on their menu to eat for breakfast at there adveritised time I would not count on it. I do appreciate I was only going there as a customer to buy food that the outlet serves, when they can be bothered, but understand cooking a whole fried egg and sausage and having to put in a buttered roll is very strenuous and was probably...

The man behind the bar was friendly and efficient..sitting area was full of crumbs on the bench side, although table had been wiped. We sat in 2 armchairs ..I was very upset when an eldery couple arrived..there was a big queue and rhe lady walked with a stick and was clearly finding walking difficult and painful. She went to come in the exit where there was nobody except a waiting/clearing staff member, to sit down He refused her to come in..so the poor woman had to struggle passed around 12 people..at least then hobble to the nearest table as she couldn't stand in the queue. I was shocked and distressed as the waiter should have made an exception under the circumstances..I went to the downstairs counter to report this but they informed me that Costa was separate from Next...his behaviour to this elderly lady completely ruined my coffe...
