Such a shame, we regularly visit Belper Costa and unfortunately we are just watching it go downhill. The staff are fabulous. All except one. THE MANAGER. This man is the most awful human we have experienced, he is rude, entitled, seems the believe he is above everyone else which is hilarious because he can’t actually make coffee either. All he seems to do is roll his eyes, speak down to his hard working staff and slam around (in front of the customers this is) we was in for a nice what we thought would be peaceful coffee when a huge bang… next thing we know this “manager” is stood ranting and raving loud enough for the whole store to hear, we tried to record this quick to send to Costa head office as this behaviour is not on. Read moreReally like the Belper Costa having been there a number of times during my lunch break. Staff are always very friendly and greet customers when they come in and leave.
I appreciate not everyone will like this, but I think it's a nice touch.
Although it gets very busy, there always seem to be enough staff on hand to help and they are well organised. There are many coffee chains that only have minimal staff.

Read moreI have been finding it very difficult to order an iced coffee with a plain sugar syrup free of charge as I usually get it for free on any other costa . The area manager here refuses to restock this and I don't know why but I feel it's a bit rascial because I prefer cold than warm coffee. I'm very annoyed especially when I know this should be provided for free but instead I'm forced to pay for a flavoured syrup shot instead.
