Reunion Belper — Restaurant in Amber Valley

The food & drinks here have always been lovely & really enjoyed it but after today I have changed my 5 star review for 3 as sadly the service was quite rude & abrupt. I stood at the counter for maybe 4-5 minutes whilst a girl was being trained (I have no problem in waiting at all, we all have to start somewhere) but I was completely ignored the whole time, not a single comment of "won't be a moment" or "sorry for the wait!" Then when I was served I still wasn't given an apology just "what table!" After I had ordered I asked for sauces & the woman actually tutted as she turned to give them me. Sadly, I think this is my last visit, plenty of other more welcoming...

Yes Yes Yes! After the demise of Fresh Basil who previously occupied the premises and standards (in my opinion) dropped pretty badd over the years, Reunion have created a lovely environment for both shopping and dining in with great service and friendly staff.

Not only is the coffee great but the food is next level. It's so nice to not only find vegan options on the menu but options which are clearly well thought out and above all very tasty. We had the vegan Sunday roast and were not disappointed. To top it off Reunion is dog friendly so we were able to pop in mid dog walk for lunch.

Absolutely lovely Cafe and Deli. Gorgeous food, friendly staff and reasonable prices. We visited here on holiday by chance and have already been back as it was so nice. I really recommend their Iced and hot coffee, the Stay Cheesy Roll, the salad and the sausage rolls. Really fresh, differently done cafe food, that is really tasty. The staff are really friendly, cheerful and helpful. It is also a community space, which is great. If you’re near Belper, I would definitely recommend...
