This was our latest family visit to Lemongrass for a birthday dinner for 7 people. As always the food and table service were very good. However, this occasion was somewhat marred by the actions of the restaurant manager. We were already seated and had drinks when table staff said the manager wanted us to move to accommodate a larger party. We had already confirmed our reservation earlier in the day while the other party had not. We acquiesced and were moved to a smaller table next to the door to the toilets. At no point did the manager acknowledge or thank us for our concession, acting only through his table staff. This left us with an awkward feeling and lack of appreciation of us as dining guests. I would urge the owners to review their manager’s client hospitality competency and focus to ensure all guests are treated properly and not made to feel uncomfortable, particularly when dining on a special occasion. Served drinks quickly from a decent drinks list and ordered prawn crackers for table nibbles which were delicious with a sweet chilli dip. Our order was for a Green Thai Curry with Sticky Rice and a Weeping Tiger steak sizzle dish with a Phad Broccoli side dish. The host was attentive and quickly removed empty serving dishes that gave us maximum table room without feeling that hovered over feeling you can sometimes get. Very happy with the...

Although friendly, id enquired to see if I could pass on the ice cream and coffee and instead have a soup instead of. I was politely told me how inflexible they were going to be and that the set menu was more important than customer satisfaction. That night 14 of us attended. This might be the last time. The waitress also happened to pour half my beer into a colleagues glass even though beer next to my glass. Overall not the best first experience. I was asked to feedback to friends my experience as I had heard it wad good. Think the monsoon across the road may be better idea in future as they seem to...
