Micks Chips — Restaurant in Arun

We visited Mick's Chips yesterday after spending an enjoyable day at East Preston beach. The service was very good and the queue outside was very orderly.Their covid-19 policy was adhered to by most people. It was a busy time and unfortunately they did forget one of my groups orders and also they got my order wrong however they didn't charge me for the missing fish from my order. I thought this was a very generous gesture. The fish was really tasty and the batter was excellent, not greasy at all. We will definitely be going back again. Well...

Have just been to Micks for a rear fish and chips treat must say not only did they get the order wrong, when we unwrapped the order the batter was very dark as if the oil had not been changed since the start of covid or it was over cooked well turned out to be a bit of both, the fish was not flakey but mushy and the amount of oil still on the fish when we got it home was not good as for the chips no thank you the best thing was the brown paper bag they came in - thats were it all ended up! - looks like I have to rate it with a star - which...

Very disappointed with the service, quality and portion sizes recently. The service has been quite frankly bad, youngsters being rude and not listening to orders correctly. Too busy chatting to each other and not listening to the customer. The chips have been poor and portion sizes have been getting much, much smaller. Food order has been wrong on more than one occasion, not what was ordered which is disappointing as the price is not cheap. It is a shame to see this place going downhill. Now we will have to find another...
