Ocean Fish Bar — Restaurant in Arun

Worst fish and chips I have ever had. Chips were so soggy and full of oil they were stuck to the paper by the time we got back home round the corner. No crisp to the outside of the chips. They we so soggy and floppy, and you could see the oil oozing out of them. If you pushed the fork down gently on the fish you could see the grease oozing out of it too. Again no crisp to the batter but soggy and floppy. It was as though they got them straight out of the oil and onto the paper instead of siting for a bit with the oil draining off. I will never ever be going there again. Would have given them a zero. Certainly should not bother calling...

I was told this is the best fish and chip shop in Bognor Regis It was good but not that good. It was a busy night and I think that my fish wasn't cooked enough as it was difficult and virtually impossible to get the paper off.

I was watching the orders come out before mine and the fish on thoes was a darker colour which would indicate that it was cooked more than mine.

There was a definite aftertaste when eating the fish batter, so I left most of it where as normally I eat everything.

The chips were fine.

I will give it one more go and if there is'nt an improvement I will return to my usual fish...
