Tbone Burger — Restaurant in Arun

For the last 6 months we've been big fans of this restaurant. However, our last two experiences have been poor to say the least.

The last order we placed (where we actually received food) was undercooked, and the sides stale. We took it on the chin as they're generally great but it does seem their standards are slipping fast.

Last night we placed an order through their partner (Deliveroo). The food never arrived. The restaurant distanced themselves from Deliveroo immediately and stated we will need to contact them to get this resolved (they have no problem with Deliveroo when they're making money). They made no attempt or efforts to make this right. We were told we would need to pay for our food again and it would be over an hour to be delivered. We've still yet to hear back from Deliveroo with a decision.

Bright and cheery. 60s music playing in the background. Waited on quickly and seated by the windows. Waitress smiled and was knowledgeable on menu and catering for a picky 16 year old. The freakshakes are massive and very tasty. Our burgers were succulent and very tasty. I had the mona lisa burger, other half had the cheeky chicken burger and daughter had the cajun wrap. Mona lisa had 3 strips of bacon ontop burger and melted gorgonzola cheese, cheeky had cornflaked filleted chicken breast, cajun wrap was mahoosive and very filling. The freakshakes were very filling and saved having a starter or pudding. The restuarant was old school american style with number plated chair covering and car motif on the walls. Lovely restaurant in beautiful Bognar Regis! We had to clean our own table on arrival and then request the restaurant mop the floor where we were seated, which they apologized for and did. It took over 15 mins for me to get my drink as another server accidentally threw mine out! It took a while to have our order taken as well. The food was good but it felt we were just 'left' at the table and had to signal the waitress for the bill when we were done, just as we had to do to have our order taken. I think living in Canada, I'm used to a different level of service and I do have to acknowledge that in the UK they don't tip (unless it's 8 or more people!), which is maybe why service here was just ok, as opposed to...
