We have visited this coffee shop on several occasions when we visit Bognor which is one of our go to places for a day out . We went to Bognor Monday 14th sept I just wanted to praise the staff and the company for totally following the new Clovid rules as of the 14th .. All the staff knew the new rules and they helped us use our phones to sign in using the square icon thingy lol My iPhone update that morning and it just worked but my partner and friend had to instal and ocr scanner app thingy in order to scan and sign in .. This was a delightful find! Just off the main shopping street, this charming cafe was a welcome retreat.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I ordered their signature latte, which was perfectly balanced with a lovely creamy texture.

My mushrooms on granary toast were delicious - the mushrooms were sautéed with garlic and herbs, and the bread was thick-cut and toasted just right.

They also had a tempting selection of pastries and cakes, which I'll definitely be trying next time.

Mainstay cafe with an excellent selection of food and drinks. Given that you'll find a lot of locals here should tell you all you really need to know. First choice for a bacon roll and a cup of coffee, but the specials board should not be overlooked. I didn't know that fried egg, chorizo and guacamole (in a roll) was a thing. Not only is it a thing, it's a revelation! Ample seating both downstairs and up, just be aware that you may have to wait for a seat at peak times.
