Cafe Caprice — Restaurant in Ashfield

Staff are friendly and fast service, place was clean. Haven’t been there in quite the number of years and I'm unsure who runs the place now, so I thought I’d go back and see how it is.

However, just a few things…

The menu online is not up to date, and my meal was nearly 60% more expensive than what was stated on their posted menu online. So I wasn’t really expecting it to cost that much when I walked in. I was missing my peas, and my food was very tough and hard to chew through. My food was also cooked much longer than requested when they asked me, which probably contributed to...

It was really lovely to be able to travel safely and to go to one of our favourite cafés. We checked before setting out, to make sure everything was open. I had my favourite, cheeseburger and chips washed down with strawberry milk shake. Absolutely delicious, as normal, and expected. The best cheeseburger and chips with milk shake in the whole of Nottinghamshire. The staff are friendly and helpful, the menu is extensive and well thought out. This morning was our second visit to this establishment both exceeded expectations. The food is excellent with quantity and quality being outstanding. The prices are also very good with a breakfast (full english, bacon sandwich, cheese on toast, two smaller breakfasts, cheese & Ham on toast and various drinks) for six priced at £23:50. Left stuffed and very happy. In the words of the Terminator "We...
