Five Guys Burgers and Fries Ashford Designer Outlet — Restaurant in Ashford

1st visit to a Five Guys yesterday at Ashford Designer Outlet in Ashford Kent. Well to my absolute horror you don't do hot drinks? It was freezing yesterday and wanted a hot coffee or tea and all you do is cold drinks?? That is madness in my opinion. The food was great but I can't overlook the fact of no hot drinks and in the middle of Winter at a outdoor shopping complex it would made sense to have hot drinks. The food comes in a bag and no plate which I thought was a strange way of doing things too. But who doesn't offer hot drinks especially with the Great British weather. Had a Cheese Dog and fries. But the menu is a sparse to say the very least. I have had to give three stars. Maybe if was to add hot drinks and more items on the menu it would be a start. No menus on tables so had to stand there looking at the board when being disabled all I wanted and needed to do was to sit down. The food was nice but you have got to offer more variety especially if want to...

Ok. I was hesitating to go to Five guys due to high prices for every single item since last year. Among 4 major brands across the outlet yard I had no much choice and had to go to this branch

2 stars - because my cheeseburger was flavoursome but the way it was organised - meat patties on top all veggies causes this bloody tower to fall apart , patties hit my nose and the whole mouth and my chin was in sauces and vegetables so I didn’t know how to finish this burger as it went apart , almost… Middle patty almost attacked me when I pressed the burger to hold it together. The dark green jalapeños is big NO. Weird colour

The strawberry shake was very good tho.

And Cajun fries. Well almost like the shop was running out of it it was so little on them

And the staff in the kitchen area should have a bit more smiley faces

The one who took the order and charged me 20.05 £ was very friendly but this can’t cover the above issues

Location is the best part of it I guess, as if other shops weren't too crowded I would most probably not even tried it. Now the size looks bigger because of the mirror effects but it has a standard size really. The environment is a bit of mixed, partly calm and partly busy. Decoration is minimal and standard to the chain. Cleanliness is very poor. Sitting arrangement is neither very comfortable, nor very bad. Customer service is standard. Ordering to the point was stressful as there were big queue and moving slowly. Time to serve the food was decent. Food quality and serve quality was poor than what was expected. The chips are worse than the cheapest fast food shop, The veggie burger and sandwich are the scam, literally few bits of frozen mashroom+lettuce+one slice tomatoes+mayo selling at very costly price. It might be good for other foods but I didn't certainly tried other products...
