This restaurant is a joke, it's absolutely disgusting. I travel up & down the country & have been into many McDonalds but never ever seen one as awful & dirty as that. We popped into there sat night at 11.20pm, it looked as though a bomb had hit it. Food & rubbish every where, there wasn't a clean table in the place, the bins were over flowing, customers had tried to clean up but with the bins over flowing the rubbish was all over the floor. We asked if someone could please clean a table so we could sit down, we just got a shug of the shoulders by a doppy staff member. I asked to speak to the manager, she arrived from round the back, I politely asked her why her restaurant was in such a state, she replied I'm short staffed, but there seemed to be staff just standing out the back laughing & joking doing nothing, when I said this, her reply was they have all got their jobs, I don't know what but it wasn't clearing up. She wasn't bothered at all, I have worked in hospitality & retail all my life, if I was manager of that disgusting place, I would be so a shamed. We ordered 2 bacon & chicken wraps, we finally received them & they were cold & the chicken was hard & awful, I took them back I was then given 2 more & they were exactly the same, I gave up!!! I witnessed a lady taken her apple pie back that was 90 mins over its use by time. My worry was that if the front of house was disgusting what was the cooking area like!!!! This restaurant needs to be closed down, have a deep clean & get staff and definitely a manager who cares about her restaurant & reputation. We definitely will not be going there again, it has put me off McDonald's. I hope no one has to witness what we did,...

Genuinely the poorest mc Donald’s experience in my 24 years existence. Iv given this place about 5 times try now , I live very close by, was looking forward too this place opening, but every time it’s the same shambolic experience. The workers mainly consist of young females who are 100% more concerned about having a constant catch up whilest bagging up meals right infront of the clearly agitated customers .this creates a lack of respect too paying customers & a clear lack of care for the job these workers are being paid for . The food is overall just disappointing, I’m not expecting the ritz but it’s basic food that’s already cooked being pre heated incorrect with a clear lack of care . For example -

2 of the 5 times iv been the fries have been overcooked , and a nasty brown colour ( these are the 2 previous times iv been so this leads me to think the oil has not been changed). I always go for a beef burger and it’s gotten more bristle time iv been .( most recent I got half way through opened it up saw the state of the amount of bristle and couldn’t bring myself to eat the rest ) I could go on.

To conclude this specific mc Donald’s needs inspection ASAP . They are CLEARLY violating health and safety rules and anyone who’s worked in the hospitality or food industry will know this as soon as you see a meal cooked from this place a few months after it’s been opened, it’s showing VERY clear signs of miss management.

No mc Donald’s is perfect , it’s cheap food to save cooking. But this place is a joke and a absolute disrespect too anyone paying money for what they expect too be a half...

Just got back from mcdonald's all I wanted was a milkshake the place is a shambles alongside my shake was people who had been waiting with me there orders were on the side with other orders all READY for at least 10 minutes which meant there food would be logically cold. The girl who was doing the orders was laughing as she left all the prepared food and left whilst talking to the boy cleaning who was talking to his mates whilst wearing a bluetooth headset. I ask the girl working there NADIA is there anyone serving and she shouted I'm going as fast as I can so I said pardon and she shouted back YOU HEARD so I ask to see manager Ben came and told me to call head office which is exactly what I'm going to do. incidentally the older guy who works there whose normally really upbeat and helpful he looked mortified at what was going on even to goes as far as removing nadia from her post to go to the back he looked so embarrassed. What the hells happened to this place it was so good and now it's a complete shambles. I'm not prepared to be spoken to like that and I shall be contacting the franchisee directly. And the milkshake was disgusting was like flat milk if I could of given 0 stars...

Pathetic service tonight. My wife placed an order on the app and went to collect it. We ordered a chocolate orange McFlurry and a maltesers McFlurry. When she went in store to collect the order, the McFlurrys were sat on the side for some time before the rest of the food was ready. When she was given them, the portion size was pathetic. The chocolate orange McFlurry just had the chocolate pieces on, and it was less than half full, the maltesers one had was bigger but had the chocolate orange sauce on the maltesers. When my wife asked them to fix it, the staff told my wife that they were not inspecting the mcflurries and we had to make do. Especially as the chocolate orange McFlurry is premium special, it really is not acceptable. Where is your quality control and customer care?? You really need to sort it out. Edit - I contacted the main McDonalds page on Facebook and they acknowledged my concerns and apologised for what occurred on behalf of the store and my comments will be discussed with the store during their review.

When asked about missing components, one team member was quite aggressive and confrontation with other team members. The team member who dealt with my query was polite, great customer service resolved it effectively. It just seemed a little strange as the confrontational team member made the experience a little uncomfortable. The young team member who resolved the request on missing elements to the order was amazing đŸ€©. They are a credit to the new copdock store.
