Two of us waited 40 minutes at lunchtime for 2 burgers to find only 1 arriving as the other had been dropped in the kitchen, and one of us told to eat theirs whilst the other order was restarted. One of us had salad intolerance and asked for this to be left off, but still came with salad. Cold day and back door left open, the café was freezing. No apologies, no attention, but when ordered 2nd cup of coffee due to the wait was told they would give us that to make up for the wait !! Really lovely cafe, first time we have visited cos we come over from cheshire for a family lunch for our son’s birthday treat suited all tastes 2 big breakfasts for son and grandson, panini granddaughter, quiche for wife and sausage on barm for me. Fabulous little cafe which offers wonderful gluten free cakes and meals. As a family including a child with coeliac disease who cannot eat gluten we were thrilled to find this place. Visits are a real treat for all of us and the owner and staff always go out of their way to offer friendly, helpful service.
