If your up for a laugh this is the place to go. It was that bad, it made you question if it was a skit. My partner called and booked a table. The person on the phone didn't even ask my partner's name, "yes come, fine, come" in a "whatever" attitude.

So we arrived to what could only be described as a converted working men's pub. A proper one where a bloke called Des sang out of tune Neil Diamond on a Tuesday. We asked about the booking and were ordered to go sit in the naughty corner, with a bunch of folk who looked really happy about being alive. One bloke in his 70's had a 30+ dolly bird. She had so much on she looked like a drag artist. Anyway I digress...

Ordering food, I wasn't sure which rice dish to go with my Szechuan chicken. So I asked for a recommendation... "Whichever, come on just choose" (basically translate into I don't give a hoot, order, eat pay and go away.) So the food came and my partner ordered crispy rolls. They tasted like they had been cut in burnt oil, and where cooked from frozen. The crispy coating was just flat and dry and not crispy. My Szechuan came and the chicken was like a rubber ball. Kinda how I imagined chewing on a Chinese ball gag from Temu. Tasted like it had been cooked from frozen. The coating wasn't even crispy, just soggy and sad. The special fried rice wasn't well seasoned. Simply spattered with a teaspoon of MSG.

I did ask whether the food was prepped on site, cooked fresh and to order. They said yes but my palette was telling me otherwise. I wasn't rude about it, but I let them know the chicken was like rubber soggy unappetizing and just generally very badly prepared and cooked. When it came to the bill, we entered into bartering. More in an attempt to make the evening more entertaining. The woman asked me if I was able to cook. To her surprise, I can't and I actually make some very good regional Chinese dishes. So she then started to take more notice of the chicken that she was removing, from the table. Even grimacing herself.

It could have been a bad night, though I doubt it very much. The atmosphere was like that of a funeral home. Everything tasted and felt like it had been peeled from a bag and purchased from a Chinese wholesaler. Purchased and stuck on ice. Such a shame as we have not seen that many Chinese restaurants in the area, only Chinese takeaways. This is very disappointing. However the waitress was that arrogant and nonchalant. It became funny. Because to be honest I haven't had a service like it. I can't honestly tell if she even liked customers. I can however imagine licking cutlery as a F**CK...

I took a resident from the care home I work at to this establishment. The opening times said 5pm. We arrived at 5 to minimise the noise of crowds due to the man's learning disability. The lady server (currently on the phone taking delivery orders) said we are closed until 530. We said no problem and drove around. We returned 535 and the lady looked surprised we had returned. Sat us down and stated "next time come at 6" we received the menus and I explained I will not be eating as I am a carer for this gentleman and it is his meal out. The main waitress looked at me like I had committed a crime and walked off. 15 minutes later the gentleman's food arrived, 5 minutes after we had still not received any cutlery, napkins or drink. I went up to the bar area to politely ask these items and she demanded me back to my table and she will get them. Once these items had arrived my client finished his meal. I went up to the bar area to pay and while handing over my money the waitress did not even look me in the eye, kept laughing and talking to her colleague in mandarin which was clearly about myself, handed my my change and walked off like I didn't exist. I thought this women must be discriminatory to people with learning difficulties but Looking at other reviews it appears this is a common trait of this female and she really is like this all the time. No one from my care facility will enter China court again and I will make sure every colleague, friend and person I speak to knows not to give a single penny to this establishment. Pre ordered food at 5 and booked delivery slot for 7. Half past 8 and we still had no food. Rang restaurant and asked to speak to the manager who refused to come to the phone after explaining to the gentleman who answered the phone the food was almost two hours late the manager eventually came to the phone. She made no apology for the late food and told me the food only had gone out 15 minutes ago. 1 hour and 30 minutes after our delivery slot. She refused to apologise and just said we’re busy. I told her it was not good enough that she was sending food out after the delivery slot time and she blamed the driver for the lateness and refused to acknowledge that the restaurant was at fault for not sending the food out on time. She offered no resolve, or to chase the order just repeated “we are busy”, the manager then began to shout down the phone even though I was not the one at fault asking what she wanted me to do about the food not arriving.
