Were seated 20 mins after our the time out table was booked despite being there on time.

Out first course, which was pre booked & paid for a month in advance, was served an hour after we arrived.

As above, all courses were pre booked, yet was told on the day the deserts we ordered were not on the menu.

As I went to pay, I gave the bloke serving me a heads up, not a complaint, a heads up regarding one of the dishes. A bloke who I took to be the manager came over to ask the situation, when I told him he was very stand of-ish & wouldn't entertain me, & didn't acknowledge me at all when the waitress backed up my claim.

We were then told we were £40+ short on the bill, even though a deposit was paid on each meal & the outstanding individually settled on the day following their paperwork.

We booked a month ago, we waited an hour for our table. Service was slow all night and irregular, we were largely unattended throughout.

Antipasti starter was nice, 4 out of 5 nothing special. Main was linguini Marinara. 2 pieces of squid ring, 1 king prawn and lots of small mussels, pasta and tomato sauce, little care, it wont remain in my memory long and you get charged more for seafood on early bird deal?

Pizza was very nice. I would order pizza again.

Got charged for fresh orange at £1.95 instead of cordial at 60p, twice.

Having read some of the reviews I really have to ask, which Mezzaluna have you been in? "Lights too bright" and " homepride sauce", what a load of tosh.

Me, my family and friends have been eating at Mezzaluna well over 12 months and every single meal we have had, including valentines and christmas day have been fabulous.

The steak is cooked to perfection every time and all the dished I have tried have been excellent.

I would definitely recommend Mezzaluna to everyone.
