Came here on a visit to cannon hall, five star for cannon hall, unfortunately the lucky pup wasn't great. I didn't try the other restaurants/cafes but hopefully they're better. The good things about the lucky pup, they let dogs in which is great, the food is a little overpriced for how good it is. The service was, sadly, woeful on our visit. I don't want to be too strong but the supervisor behind the till was not good, big queue behind me and he left to help another colleague out but didn't let her come to the queue but insisted she stay with him whilst he was addressing an issue. So the queue got bigger. It took about 30 minutes for us to place our order. No apology. Very disappointed to be honest which is a shame because the rest of our visit to cannon hall was amazing.

Incredibly disappointed in the food, not cheap either. Ordered steak pie and chips at £14 to get a rock hard pie and frozen chips. Pastry couldn't even be saved by the extra pot of gravy that had no handle so was hot to pick up. Chips were just disgusting like the last few at the bottom of a bag. To top it off it was an extra £2.75 for a cup of tea. No proper disabled parking that I saw either.. Lovely place but badly let down by the food, won't be back. That being said Tilly dog loved the place and her tail never stopped wagging, the staff were lovely to her and there was lots of room between the tables so she wasn't crammed into a corner, she loved saying hello to other dogs around and loved the experience. 5 stars from Tilly

We recently had lunch here when visiting cannon hall farm. The food is outstanding and it's very popular with dog owners as it's one of the places dogs are allowed on the farm. The home baked sweet treats are very good and the service is also very good. We enjoyed it so much that we came back for breakfast the following morning rather than take it in our hotel before heading home. Well recommended and if definitely eat here again if visiting the farm.

As regular visitors was really disappointed today after waiting nearly 45 minutes for our food went to ask what had happened to it was told due to it being very busy it was taking longer we had both drunk the tea ordered with the meals by this time and the cafe was only about a quarter full when I pointed out people who had ordered after us had received their food eaten it and left the assistant went to find out what had happened she returned and said it was on its way sure enough the next order was ours seems strange it arrived straight away I asked if we could have replacement teas but was told I would have to pay not good customer management two mugs of tea as an apology would have been appreciated if this had been our first visit think it would have...
