The Pavilion Cafe — Restaurant in Barnsley

We visited on a lovely sunny morning before the temperature rose too high. After a walk from Cawthorne my dog and I needed some refreshments before walking back. I ordered a teacake, latte, cold drink & 2 sausage & black pud for my dog. The lady behind the counter was very cheerful, friendly and welcoming. We sat outside, which had parasols up, to protect against the sun. (There is seating inside as well if preferred) The cushioned bench seats were also a welcome addition and gave the whole place an added comforting touch. The food came fast and was really good. My dog loved her sausages and black pud and I've promised she can go back for more another time. The price was really good for the quality, previously we have used other cafes on site but I think we may stay to The Pavilion now as its much better value for money and the staff are lovely. The toilet facilities are also great if you're an individual flying solo with a dog, I was able to take her in with me (I wouldn't have left her outside) and make sure she was safe, something you can't do at all premises that offer toilet facilities. It makes a different when you're on your own. We definitely will be coming back again, very peaceful...

Nice cafe with seating inside and outside witha couple of tables undercover outside. We just had Tea and coffee which came to 3.95 . Bacon and Sausage sandwiches + lots of others.Pleasant staff. OK for dogs outside. Hygiene rating 5 stars. Car park is 1pound for 2 hours as cafe within grounds...

Very busy today with special event at Cannon Hall Farm but service was still quite quick and the bacon & mushroom butty was delicious!! Lots of other hot & cold sandwiches available plus a good selection of cakes & drinks. Many sat outside today with the nice weather. Always worth...
