Domino's Pizza - Basildon - Pitsea — Restaurant in Basildon

Ordered from this awful place for the second time and it was not a great experience!

Firstly, as I arrived in the shop the girl on the till was chatting to a man who looks like a twig! Both ignored me as I entered. I was stood there for 58seconds before anyone acknowledged i was there. In addition, another staff member saw me and looked away to not make eye contact with me probably because she was lazy and couldn't be bothered! Instantly I knew it was going to go downhill from here.

Secondly, when I was finally acknowledged I got no apology or friendly smile, just a miserable spotty face annoyed young lady. When I arrive home with my pizza which was meant to be 2 large pizza's, 2 sides and cookies (Big deal meal) I ended up with 2 MEDIUM size pizzas which were dry, cold, boring and not easy on the eyes. Everyone in my house hated the pizzas and ultimately the pizzas ended up in the bin!

Finally, I did ring back to discuss my order and was met with stink attitude from the young lady. She said I made an order online which I did not, and if I made the order online why did you take my payment at the till. She also said what they have in store is different from what is online but she did not explain that when I was making the order over the phone. She kept mentioning online which was so irrelevant. I have made the exact same order 2 weeks ago and the service and food was much better. I normally order from dominos pizza in romford, have done so for years, I thought let me try somewhere local but never again!!! I prefer to travel 20mins and meet professional and happy staffs who provide great service instead of travelling 6 mins for terrible tasting pizza with awful service. Never again will I set foot in that resturant! 0 STARZZZZ

Awful service. Arrived on time to collect prepaid order, but was told to wait outside the shop as it was not ready.

Upon ordering I had been told that the delivery drivers were "not working" due to high winds. There were several delivery drivers coming and going during my wait!

Whilst waiting outside, a lady entered the shop and was clearly also asked to wait, however, she was allowed to wait inside! So, presumably, a man is expected to be fine standing outside in dangerously high winds and freezing rain, but a lady can sit inside the shop, even though the assistant in the store is quite clear that the company policy states no customer must wait inside.

I was then called back inside to be informed that an error had occurred during the process of making one of my pizzas, but it will only be 5 minutes. 14 minutes later I finally got my pizzas, although 2 were cold by this time.

Absolutely appauling service. Staff lied about delivery services and the guy serving made the rules up as he went because he obviously never had a woman, saw one, and thought he'd impress her by overlooking company policy. Poor overall experience, I recommend Pizza GoGo or...

This was my first visit here and the first Domino's pizza in my life. The place: I hadn't had a Domino's pizza before and I didn't know about their special offers either. I walked in ordered a 7" pizza paid and were waiting. While I was waiting I read the menu where I saw that for walk in customers there was a special offer, buy 1 get one free. When I asked a member of the staff, he didn't know how to avoid a straight answer but at the end he admitted that I was entitled to a free pizza. I think he should have told me and not "waiting" for me to ask. I used to work in hospitality we always used to tell the guests what special offer we had. So this was disappointing.
