George's Cafe — Restaurant in Basildon

I come here every weekend and have been coming here over 10 years. The food is always fresh and hot! The staff are always polite every single staff has manners and is very well spoken, the atmosphere is always perfect, even when I take my screaming 1 year old lol everyone is always patient with her! Oh and they make the best coffee in Basildon! I highly recommend this place! It’s never done me any problem and has been here for many years!!!!...

I usually judge a café by the quality of their sausages… unfortunately their sausage fell short of my expectations… however the chips were quite nice, bacon was nice and crispy, and my partner had a very delicious sandwich, quite nice bread! I would prefer to order and pay at the table, but that just me… otherwise the missing 5th star is purely based on the sausage, it was simply not a delicious sausage… Btw the coffee itself...

Very racist any person of colour AVOID its a shame I've received amazing service from a young lady a few times but lately the man with glasses and grey hair refused to take my order. He was extremely rude over the phone, hang up whilst i was ordering and in person I asked why did he not mention they are busy but there were barely any customers and he continued to be rude.
