L'oliveta Restaurant — Restaurant in Basildon

I had an absolutely dreadful experience this morning at Loliveta. The host who was supposed to guide people to their tables had an incredibly argumentative attitude. The main issue that really bothered me was the way he spoke to me. He started off by questioning how many people I needed a table for, which was quite unnecessary. Then, he abruptly told me that I couldn't bring my own food onto the premises, even though I didn't have any food or drinks with me in the first place.

Later on, I returned to the restaurant to get a second table for three lovely ladies who were in wheelchairs. To my astonishment, there were more than five empty tables available, but when I asked the host about it, he responded with a dismissive remark, saying, "We don't have tables for wheelchairs." I was absolutely livid at the way he made my lovely ladies feel. It was truly disheartening and left me utterly disgusted with the level of service provided at this...

Went here today with my wife we ordered some food a coffee and tea I had a coffee the cup was dirty on the outside my wife had a tea the milk jug was disgusting and dirty bits of I don't know what on the inside of the jug and in the milk I took the coffee and the milk jug back to the counter and told a staff member ( I think he was the manager/owner) and all he said was it has never happened before. No apology I asked for a fresh cup of coffee and and milk and also asked to see the jug and the cup before they put anything in them so I could be sure they were clean . I will never eat or drink in this cafe again if you do check for dirty cups ect . I wouldn't recommend this place for a dog to eat...

Timings on the website and on google are incorrect, I checked the website for timings specifically to ensure I would be able to bring my children for a drink and cake arrived at 3:30. Went to approach the restraunt and was promptly told that they closed at 3:30. The member of staff went to check with her manager who was sat over the other side of the restaurant who was rude and dismissive. He totally denied what it said on the website and honestly seemed like he couldn’t even be bothered.
