I have to say, I am very pleased with Basingstoke football club. Despite the £6 child entry fee, everything else was world class. You have match-day programmes for £2.80 and pin badges for £4.00. I picked up one of each.
It was easy to get a seat as I arrived approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes before kickoff, as I did not expect to get the bus down to the ground. I met the Plymouth Parkway media manager whilst I was on the bus, and he was really nice.
Before the game started, there were some elderly Basingstoke and Plymouth Parkway fans sat near me and they were lovely. You could actually have a chat with them about 'proper' football and the game whilst it was going on.
The match ended 1-1 with Basingstoke ending with 10 men as they got a red card early into the first half, however despite this, they did not give up and instead they persevered. This is what a football club should be like. Even though they might be trailing, they do not give up and they give it their all.

Decent pitch and food facilities, only qualm would be the limited parking area. If you can't get in there then it's a long walk to the alternate parking, which in the autumn/winter months is a very dark walk, which is not great when you're a woman on your own, in an area you're not...
