My partner and my son come in this morning like they do most mornings to get my son his toastie and hot chocolate being autistic this routine is vital to start the day of as he enjoys costa alot and we spend alot of money with this shop but the manger today decided to shout at my partner and son and ban them both from the shop because my son was playing with the toilet lock and looking at the toilet this is one of many obsessions my son has that we fight on a daily basis! he wasnt harming anyone or upsetting anyone. But the pure level of customer service presented by staff was unbelievable and very very upsetting for my partner and the pure level of unprofessionalism to a mother and child befounds me. Read moreI visit a lot of Costa Coffee shops and can honestly say this is the worst. Some of the staff do not smile or greet the customers in fact one of them was extremely rude. I tried to help by putting out used coffee cups on a tray onto some shelves, a very rude man shouted at me not to put it there as it didn't belong. No thank you or offering to take it from me, he just walked off. I have never been spoken to like that before. I think the staff in this store really need training and start greeting the customer with a smile. I suggest they go to the Costa Coffee in the hospital the staff there are really friendly and helpful. If they are not happy in their work find another job. I will certainly not be...
Read moreVery disappointed with my recent visit, and this not aimed at the staff, they try their best ,it's the owners fault ,because they have decided to start doing collections ,so the driver collects drinks ,food for the customers as well.
So whilst waiting 15 mins for only a Costa coffee l had to endure, waiting for someone's home delivery which took 10 mins ,meanwhile the que was getting bigger ,and one of the girls was an apprentice so a bit slow .4 staff doing 5 staffs worth of work.
So l don't understand why the owners want to do collections when people are, walking in taking one look at the que and walking out so your losing customers anyway.
