Koffee House — Restaurant in Bassetlaw

We visited today for the first time for lunch; we ordered a tuna salad, chicken salad and a panini with 3 drinks. The service was extremely slow and we waited a good 20 mins, the meals came out first then 10 minutes and later the drinks - the salads were extremely disappointing and consisted of a plateful of lettuce, 5 slices of cucumber, 4 slices of tomato, red onion, and garlic mayo. Even the panini that my daughter ordered included coleslaw! We had red velvet cheesecake which was lovely, lemon meringue and pancakes which were bog standard and not worth the money. The cheesecake came out first then the meringue 6 mins later came the pancakes.

I informed the waitress of our disappointment and she obviously didn’t know what to say, but apologised. To be fair she couldn’t have been any older than 16. The bill came to £46 for the 3 of us and is without a doubt not money well spent. Poor customer service, disappointing food and overpriced. Probably won’t...

Myself and my sister in law visited today, although the staff were friendly we had an awful experience. We both ordered a jacket potato with chilli, it arrived quickly however the meal was luke warm. We started eating it in the hope the middle would be warm however it was freezing cold inside. I mentioned this to the waitress and asked her to warm it up. She politely said she would sort it, 10-15 minutes went passed and the food had not come back from the kitchen. My sister in law went up to the counter to ask where it was and they said they would go check. Two women behind the counter huffed and puffed as if I were in the wrong.

The food did not arrive and the waitresses did not tell me any reason why it had not returned. I asked for a refund and left. Very disappointed as all the reviews were good however it will be my first...

I'm really shocked by the service we have received this morning, we visited the koffee house every Wednesday and the food has always been fine but to say I'm shocked that we have been made out to be liars has surprised me that they believe this is good customer service. I'm sure it was an innocent mistake on thier part that part of a biscuit wrapper made its way into my sisters coffee and yes she was half way down the drink before it went into her mouth but to suggest she had put it there to get a free coffee is stupid. If we wanted extra drinks we would buy them the same as we always do. To over hear my sister being slagged off whilst my husband was waiting to buy drinks is disgusting and we will take our custom else where in future. Absolutely...
