Dined for 2 on a Monday night, understandably quiet, but as a large open room the atmosphere suffered with only two dining couples - I would expect this to improve when busier. My wife is a first time Vietnamese diner, whilst I'm familiar having worked in Hanoi for a while in 2022, - so was really looking forward to having this cuisine on our doorstep. There was a reasonable range of Pho and Bun on offer, Had the pork/prawn & prawn spring rolls with a house dip and these were very tasty indeed. Both of us went for Pho as a main dish, mine Beef and wifes Chicken, we asked for chopsticks as they are not on the table - This provides a much more authentic dining experience and increases the time taken to eat ( a good thing). They were stylish chopsticks from Vietnam the server informed us, however I prefer the plain bamboo/wood, we probably should have asked for the chopsticks first as we ate the rolls with our fingers!

The broth and meat were tasty and authentic, my only criticism is that i would have liked a larger portion of fresh sides as there was one plate between two. It did not compromise the experience.

I also had 2 Heineken at reasonable prices whilst my wife had a soft drink. An alcohol free cocktail offering would improve the choice for the driver, whilst ( and i appreciate this might be more difficult) Hanoi or Saigon Beer for that icing on the cake. But I'm being picky - we had an authentic Vietnamese meal with drinks for a little over £40. Staff were friendly and attentive and our wet brolly was stowed for us. We will be back, soon, and in numbers. Good luck with the venture - an asset to the dining available in Worksop. Highly...

Finally, a touch of East Asia in Worksop! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, adorned with beautiful decorations. The waitstaff are exceptionally polite and attentive to your needs.

We started with pork spring rolls, which came with a delectable, mildly spicy dipping sauce. The filling included refreshingly fresh ingredients like coriander and mint. The garlic butter chicken wings were a highlight – fresh, tender, juicy, and perfectly crispy despite being coated in a delicious tangy sauce. The wings were served with plenty of vegetables and a side of fries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our main courses: the stir-fried udon noodles with duck, and the yellow curry with duck. The duck was perfectly cooked with a flavorful batter that melted in our mouths. A soy-flavored dipping sauce complemented the dish. The yellow curry was rich and flavorful, with hints of coconut and a mild spice. It was so delicious that it could be enjoyed on its own, yet it also paired wonderfully with the rice. Both dishes included plenty of vegetables, making for a well-balanced meal. The prices are very reasonable, offering generous portions without sacrificing quality. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients.

Before we left, we ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee and a matcha frappe, both meticulously prepared by the restaurant owner. It was a pleasure to meet and chat with Tommy, who had also served some of our dishes.

Overall, we had a lovely evening, were well taken care of, and enjoyed the most delicious food in Worksop. We left very happy and will definitely...

Exceptional Taste and Service at Pho Tuong Restaurant - Queens Head Bar Pho Tuong Restaurant, situated in the unique setting of the Queens Head Bar, is a true culinary gem offering an authentic Vietnamese experience. From the moment you step in, the welcoming atmosphere and beautiful decor set the stage for an excellent meal. The menu is superb, with the Special Beef Pho being a standout – rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. The fresh spring rolls are also a must-try, served with a delicious dipping sauce. What truly elevates the dining experience, however, is the remarkable staff. They are not just attentive and polite; they go above and beyond. On our visit, a wonderful server offered us a complimentary, spontaneous lesson in basic Vietnamese phrases. This thoughtful gesture added a unique cultural dimension to the evening, making the service not just excellent, but genuinely memorable and personal. With its combination of top-quality, flavorful food, charming ambiance, and uniquely engaging hospitality, Pho Tuong Restaurant - Queens Head Bar is highly recommended. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a delightful cultural encounter. Highly...

We decided to stop by Pho Tuong for lunch after shopping in town and thank goodness for that decision. The food was amazing especially Pho Beef Noodle. We ordered some Deep Fried Springrolls, Stir fried Squid, Salmon and mixed vegetable, Rice and Fries. The quality of the ingredients and its taste are top notch. I am a good cook myself and often make many Vietnamese dishes at home I can say this is very very good Vietnamese food. They also sell bubble tea and since it's also a pub there is good selection of beverage and alcohol drinks. I recommended to family and friends they all said they really enjoyed the food and the experience was great. The only thing that may stop me coming back and dine as often as I wish is their price. Hope the owner possibly consider to lower their price and make it more affordable so that everyone could try the amazing aunthentic Vietnamese cuisine without travelling to Vietnam.

We were looking for somewhere for lunch whilst having a stroll in Worksop on a Friday afternoon and accidentally found this delightful restaurant. We thought it was a pub from the outside but once we entered, we were very much taken with the decor. At first we had the place to ourselves but some more customers soon arrived. The service was so good and friendly and the food was so tasty. It was very authentic and such a wide choice of dishes, including lots of vegan options. I would certainly recommend a visit here if you happen to be on Worksop.
