We were looking for somewhere for lunch and stumbled across the Olive Grove. At first, we thought they were closed as it looked dark through the windows. When we got inside we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff offering to find us a table and insisting they were open! I think there were two other customers in there, so it was very quiet. (the number of customers is often an indication how good a place is, so I was a little cautious). Anyway, I needn’t have worried. It turned out to be a lovely place to stop for lunch. I suspect as it’s a Bistro and a little tucked away, their evening trade will be their most busy time. The staff were very helpful and the service prompt. The decafe tea was good and the food excellent. I had a platter on a wooded board, with chunks of different types of bread, cheese, olives, salad and cold meats. It was delightful! By the time we walked out I felt I had just sampled a taste of Spain.

Me and my partner were looking for a cafe to have lunch at in Worksop and we stumbled across The Olive Grove so we thought we would try it. We loved the colour and the decoration of the outside space and the ladies that served us were really helpful and lovely. We had nice weather so we were able to sit outside and although they are still renovating the outside space it was a really nice place to eat. We went for Tapas and the dishes were a really good size and everything was delicious! We would definitely recommend the fried aubergine with honey and balsamic glaze - so good! This place is great, we will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

Fantastic hidden gem in the middle of Worksop. I have walked past it for years as it has no frontage. It is just an archway on Bridge Street. Make sure you never walk past it again, it is amazing with a real Mediterranean feel and look. Seating areas inside and out. Food is amazing and a wide choice of drinks. I was so impressed I have booked by birthday celebration there. Please promise me you will never just walk past again and you will venture through the archway into an amazing different world. Truly amazing, thank you

Absolutely horrible experience, I booked for a table of 5 for my family as it was my partner’s birthday meal and he’s always been curious and wanting to try..

As soon as we arrive and they have seen we have children with us they didn’t looked pleased at all, we were booked for 7pm which I think is a decent time to go out with kids for their dad’s bday meal.

We sat down as soon as we sat down they took our drinks order so quickly, but… After the drinks arrived we were literally ignored for almost 30 mins! There was a couple next to us they manage to give the menu for dessert, taken their order for dessert, asked if the dessert was nice all this time passing by us like as if we weren’t there at that point that’s when we decided to just leave! The respond we got .. “we thought you were waiting for someone else” I have booked for 5 and there were 5 of us, unless they don’t consider childrenas paying people.

Thankyou for ruining my partner’s...

Ate her on today (10/8/24) it's slightly out of they way and can be easily missed so hidden gem is the best way to describe it, it's an intimate dining experience and I mean that in the best way possible, the food was lovely, our food arrived quickly and was exactly what I expected. Then the customer service, it was perfect, Charly served us and was incredible, knowledgeable of the menu, recommended items to myself and my partner, we ordered some of her recommendations and I'm so glad we did, I requested an addition to my meal and she made sure it was able to be done and it was, I also overheard her speaking to the table next to our and again was the ideal waitress, happy, engaging with humour to add to it, genuinely an asset to the restaurant. Her service alone has sold me on returning and most likely becoming a...
