Aldos Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Belfast

Mixed experience - Aldos is one of the best chippy's in belfast when the food is fresh and the order is correct. I usually order from them on a weekly basis and get the same two meals every single time.

The issue with the restaurant is that almost every single week there is a problem with the order. Even when you go through the order over the phone and have them repeat it back to you there is often times still mistakes. (missing items, incorrect meals etc).

I just don't understand why it is so hard to take an order over the phone. Even after I brought this to their attention on multiple occasions the problems still persist. The last time I ordered my meal was completely wrong. The server claimed "thats what he thought I said" even though I made him go over the order and corrected his mistake. I even made him acknowledge it before the call ended.

But as I said above, when the order is correct and the food is fresh they are up there with the best of them. Its just a shame they cant get...

Hour and a half delivery time, which I wouldn't mind so much if the delivery was right. Someone is else is out there eating chicken nuggets they didn't order. It's a pity they didn't get our fish, which was mildly warm, sweating and soggy, had to eat it myself cos i was starving. Not pleasant. No drinks with the order as usual. Only writing this because we've phoned a few times about missing drinks etc.... and it keeps happening. Come on Aldos, it's not rocket science to make sure an order goes out right, with drinks. I want to shop local but you're not...
