I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bites of India in Belfast, and I must say, it was one of the most memorable dining experiences Iāve had in the city. From the moment you step inside, the warm and welcoming atmosphere instantly makes you feel at home. The dĆ©cor is charming, blending modern comfort with authentic Indian cultural touches, creating a vibrant yet cozy setting perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends.
Now to the foo absolutely outstanding! Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic Indian flavors, clearly prepared with fresh ingredients and a lot of love. The spices were perfectly balanced, letting the flavors shine without overwhelming the palate. I especially recommend their butter chicken, which was rich and creamy, and their lamb biryani, which was fragrant and perfectly cooked. The vegetarian options were equally delightful, offering a wide range of choices for different dietary preferences. And donāt miss the garlic naan ā soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor!
The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready with recommendations and happy to accommodate any requests. You can tell they truly care about their customersā experience.
Overall, Bites of India is not just a restaurant ā itās a place where you can enjoy the true essence of Indian cuisine in a beautiful, inviting space. Whether youāre a lifelong fan of Indian food or trying it for the first time, this spot is a must-visit in Belfast. Iāll definitely be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSmall restaurant- we were interested to try the food seeing so many good ratings.
We ordered 'Chicken Vindaloo' and 'Paneer Motor'. The waitress came back soon to tell us- Chicken Vindaloo is extremely hot and we can't handle it. We assured her it is OK, then Chef came in to say it is very hot- we can't handle it. We assured him, too, that we are very hot/spicy lovers. The Vindaloo wasn't good- 5 pcs of chicken in a bowl of half-litre oily gravy. It wasn't hot at all- trust me. Same as Paneer curry- small amount in a big bowl full of gravy- nearly £10. And we ordered two bowls of rice- you know what was the size of the rice bowl? it was 1/3 of the Chicken curry dish- and price is: £2.75. How can you eat the curry with such a small rice amount- around 50 grams! I am from Bradford, England- the capital of hot/spice food in Europe. I would like to invite the chef to come and visit Bradford to taste the real/classical/traditional dishes we enjoy here every day.
Didn't like: vindaloo taste, too much gravy, very low...

The staff are extremely friendly and can accommodate your requests easily. The food is authentic (coming from an Indian), has a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well. There is ample seating spaces for you to visit either by yourself, with friends or even family. The food is moderately priced making it one of the best places to eat some delicious Indian food. Donāt worry if you have a vehicle, there are sufficient parking spots available around the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to try some mouthwatering Indian cuisine! If youāre in Belfast, this place is a must-visit for good food! You can carry your own alcohol as well if youād like, as they only serve beers (limited quantity). A more-than-once visit is recommended so you can try different dishes on the...
