I ordered a burrito and drink via Deliveroo from Lisburn road store on 2nd jan to my disappointment the burrito was stone cold due to the drivers putting cold drinks in the same bag as hot food I rang the Lisburn road store and spoke to sorscha the manager and she apologised and told me she would leave a free burrito card in my local store 14-16 great Victoria street boojum I called in today to speak to them about it and the manager said “I haven’t heard anything about that let me go on and double check” she came back with the card and didn’t say a word to me but looked very pissed off at me and I asked for my safety when it expires and she said in a very cheeky tone “it says n/a it doesn’t expire “ and then rolled her eyes and went back to work I’m not happy with this behaviour from a manager as I was getting back something that I was very much rightfully owed it’s not as if this comes out of her pocket??I am a big fan of boojum and I do hope that the manager changes her tone with customers as it isn’t very welcoming...

Boojum was once one of the best places to eat in Belfast. Huge portions, massive burritos at a very reasonable price. Having noticed a steady decline in the standard and overall quality of their food I have visited less often. I called in today 14th May 2024 for lunch. The restaurant was not busy, however the member of staff serving me couldn’t have been less interested in providing any form of customer service. I have now found that I have to order double portions of meat as the amount in a single portion is not nearly enough. I honestly felt like the portions in my burrito today were coming out of staff wages. Half a spoonful of rice, two half ladles of chicken, a small amount of salsa and very little cheese or sour cream. The chicken was totally undercooked when I bit into it and the rest was bland and tasteless. I don’t think I’ll be back any time soon. Overpriced, bland and tasteless and the staff look as miserable as the...

Avoid! My friends and I had heard so much about this place and were super excited to try it. We ordered a two-burrito deal and two single burritos. First of, the salsa chips we ordered with our two-burrito deal did not arrive. When I called the restaurant to complain, I was informed this could not be delivered. Rather, I'd have to wait for two days to get a refund. Mind you, the restaurant was less than 5 minutes drive away. To make things worse, when we finally opened the burritos, one was unusually smaller than the others. This was very confusing. We took photos to report it but it didn't end there. When I eventually opened the small burrito (because we worked out it was mine, it was the wrong burrito. It had pork instead of chicken! Worse, it had none of the things I asked for in my burrito. I didn't want pork. I wanted chicken. I don't know why everyone hypes this place. I'll never...

Summary: It's like a Chipotle, but louder... Not quite as polished, but that's fine too. Food was good. You can choose from burritos, tacos, bowls, etc. Pick your rice, protein, and extras. They couldn't make churros or tortilla chips the night I visited. They do have a selection of small and medium Ben & Jerry's ice cream to pick up for desert also. Did I mention it was loud in here?! The counter employees seem to have easy access to the volume, which is good and bad. I'm sure they would field a request to turn it down if you're near them, but God help you when a song they like starts playing (And this is coming from a person that built custom stereos since the mid 90's and owns a 24" subwoofer). Anyway, more upsides than downsides. Great for a quick kind-a sort-a taste of Tex-Mex when you're on the wrong side of the Atlantic.

I had the chorizo burrito, as they had run out of the pulled pork. The chorizo isn't cooked which means it's chewy and flavourless. However, the worst thing is that burrito is just full of rice and very bland. My daughter had the vegan 3 bean chilli and said all she had was mainly rice too. The staff obviously didn't want to be there and didn't and were quite unfriendly. Don't understand why Boojum gets so many good reviews. It was so disappointing.
