In a word - filthy! Was in Caffe Nero in Lisburn on Tuesday and was really impressed with the attention given to a disabled lad in front of us in the queue by the young man on the counter. The service was quick and the place was clean and had a good ambience. Fast forward to Friday to the Upper Newtownards Road branch - more staff than Lisburn, no queue but in the 30 minutes we were there not a table cleared or cleaned. If you did not clear it yourself the dirty dishes stayed there. The tables, obviously unwiped, were dirty and sticky. The floor was dirtier than the street outside! Although unable to clear up, one of the staff had the time to go over to a lovely little Spaniel and give it a scratch and pet!

Visiting from overseas and staying at a local AirBnB so was thrilled to find a coffee house that didn't butcher the bean by serving it scorching hot. Was expertly attended by the sole barista (with red hair and fab nails captured in the pic!) who handled everything on her own. As a former coffee shop owner in Australia I know how difficult it is to manage when you are understaffed and sadly I see again and again, these chain stores deliberately understaffing to save money. This would be a 5 star review otherwise but I think little of corporations exploiting staff in this fashion.

First time here, and it’ll be my last. While the staff were very friendly, the prices are ridiculously high (£3.50 for an iced coffee) and the place was shockingly filthy. Could hardly believe how filthy it was — stained and dirty seating and tables, floors that look like they haven’t been washed in weeks or longer, dust and general dirt everywhere; just absolutely filthy. Don’t know what the manager is doing but it’s a disgrace that the place is this shabby.

I had a bad experienced this afternoon, I left my belongings a small piece of plastic bag with books inside it on the chair just to reserved our place, while on the queie with my son one of the staff cleaned our table and suddenly one of the old man sat on our chair, I asked him if he noticed a plastic bag he said it's not there..then I asked the staff, they dont know...and the one girl with the blue headband answered " I don't have any idea". The girl sitting beside us even witnessed she tidy up the place. I felt they were not helpful..at the end she gave my green plastic bag to my son with no explanation at all.I left the place really annoyed and...
