Greens Pizza — Restaurant in Belfast

We used to love Greens. Sadly it has gone to the dogs! The waiting staff are super helpful and very friendly but the food is terrible. We waited over 50 minutes for our food which would’ve been fine if it was busy but there was only 3 tables including ours and 1 of those had already been served. there wasn’t a delivery driver or takeaway customer while we were there so I doubt they were under pressure to get orders out plus we arrived shortly before 8pm and they were closing at 9pm. Anyway, the kids ordered the greens pasta and a kids pepperoni pizza. The absolute audacity to send those portions out baffles me!! They are not what I would call kids portions & the pizza was burnt. I was disappointed to be honest. My pizza, for the price of it was an absolute joke! It was also burnt and wasn’t much bigger than the kids pizza. We used to go to Greens in Ballyhack quite often. Sadly the last few times have been such a let down with this experience being the the absolute worst. Sadly we won’t be back. and may I add, what the heck is with their wine pricing?? Horatio’s is cheaper! Thankfully we didn’t order any but I’d say save your money and cross the road & go to Horatios. Plus the atmosphere will be better. What a waste of £70. Sad as we used to love the place. Over priced, no atmosphere & dismal portions! Sakes, even their dips are stingy! Poor show Greens! Lovely staff though so that’s a positive. I could’ve complained but we were absolutely starving after a really busy day & we waited so long that we just wanted to eat and then leave. I am still sitting in the restaurant as I type this. I have come to greens with my family on multiple occasions an have been delighted with the food and experience. However I will review the experience I am currently having. Firstly the high chair strap is broken for our child, the server totally blanked out when he took down our order and decided to have an argument with my wife when questioned about it. When my garlic bread was delivered I asked if it had mushrooms (as this is what I had ordered) the waiter replied yes. Straight up lie, it did not have mushrooms in it. When trying to attract his attention about it he stayed as far away from our table as possible. Also my pizza was black and burned, people that arrived after us getting served before us and I had to ask for the kids drink that was supposed to come with the meal. The place is packed and the have 3 servers on. I am properly frustrated and hope that no one else has the same experience as I am having. Hopefully management sees this and fixes this very poor customer service as I do love the food normally . Sorry Green's, sort it out. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Ordered one pizza and small pasta, waited 45 minutes ( there was only one other table so not busy ) only to be told sorry there was a mix up with the order and instead was given a small pizza to tie us over until the actual order would arrive. Very little regard from the staff who seemed more interested in socialising with colleagues. I wish at this point we stood up and left. 10 minutes later our small bowl of pasta arrived which was mediocre at best. At long last the actual pizza that was initially ordered arrived, at this point we were totally fed up with the lack of customer service so asked for it to go. Upon requesting the bill and reiterating our unhappiness the waiter simply couldn’t care less. Paid full price for the pizza that we didn’t even get to eat in the restaurant and in total waiting nearly an hour.

Definitely would never return nor recommend to anyone. I would give zero stars...
