Blue Marlin Perry Barr — Restaurant in Birmingham

Ordered Soup yesterday and got Water down Mutton soup. Hardly any food considering I ordered large. Don't try to stretch the soup, give the full flavour. Very disappointed because I recommend Blue Marlin to everyone. Should have taken a picture. Terrible.

So, I have only been here for a few weeks despite living in this area my whole life, and i must say that a few years of my life have been wasted eating at other joints when the dinners here could have been a much better option.

Hot, tasty food, halal too if you live in this area and are worried about that, they source from local butchers. I recommend the classic jerk chicken dinner and chicken feet soup. Working my way through all the menu options is difficult when I really just want to eat the jerk chicken dinner. In fact i'm going today.

5* Excellent Caribbean Food in Brum.

This is my second time trying Blue Marlin in Perry Barr and they have set the standard for quality Caribbean food on the go! The customer service over the phone and in person is professional and friendly and the food is delicious and full of flavour. I can count on them to be open when they say they are and have a good variety of dishes to choose from.

Today I had the oxtail and stew dinner with extra oxtail sauce and a side of plantains. Highly recommend! Keep up the good work!
