Casa De Burito (Sutton Coldfield) — Restaurant in Birmingham

My family & I have supported this restaurant since it first opened &, I'm very sorry to say, have seen a gradual decline in portion sizes, amongst other things. Yesterday I spent £70 on a dinner for myself, my son, my daughter in law & my grandson. We had our usual 12" pulled beef burrito, fries & this time we also indulged in the quasadillas, beef & chicken. The beef quasadillas were as flat & underfilled as a piece of paper, almost as if they'd been spread with a knife like applying butter to a slice of bread. The chicken quasadillas were better & contained more fillings. Unfortunately my grandson left his chicken strippers as our order had taken nearly 2 hours to reach us, resulting in a lot of our food arriving cold. I don't like leaving negative comments for local businesses as I run my own restaurant in another county so I know the pressures, etc, but food quality & value for money, especially the prices at this restaurant, are more important than ever... I can't afford to spend such money here anymore when I can go for a good quality meal elsewhere for...

After reading all the reviews i went to this place it looked fine but is not worth it at all. Theres only one woman doing all the work (shes is very soft spoken and doing good job). The guy behind counter looks at you but ignores you he even spoke rudely with my wife which if i would have found out then would have put him in his place. The food is tasteless and bland. Mexican food is bursting with colour and flavour but this food only tasted of lime. There were no fresh vegetables served with the dishes. The salsa consists of spices and herbs but this one just had tomatoes and cilantro. The hot flavour which Mexican food is famous for was non existent. The menu consists of max 15-25 items which suggests that they specialise in that food but seems like an experimental food. Prices are all right but then again I can make such bland food at home for less than half the price. I have visited today Burrito, absolutely amazing place to go! The staff is very friendly, they always been and the owners are also amazing! While I was enjoying a coffee on the terrace, avoiding the weather, a homeless asked me for some change so, I have decided to buy him some food. I kindly ask the staff if they can prepare some food to be taken away, to my surprise not only they agree with my request to help the homeless person but, they even invite him inside the venue where it was warm and very clean to sit down at the table and have a proper meal, as outside was very cold and raining. When I request the bill, the person in charge, that I found to be the owner, told me that the meal for the homeless person is free. He will pay for it! Woww!!! Honestly??!
